not anymore. AMD with the 5000 series was better at gaming than intel, but the 11k intel looks nearly on par, but still lagging a little against the AMD 5k series.
Ya, got lucky with the RTX 3080, friend of my brothers got an extra one and I was able to get it.
It's probably not worth it unless you need to crunch some data/encode with the CPU. I just wanted it since it was a 12 core, but this 8 core I have has been really good as well.
I've been an Intel fan for the last 25 years but AMD came out with some fantastic CPU's in the past few of years.
I went AMD this round due to the huge performance increase.
I would either sell or keep the 7700k, sell it if you don't need a second system, keep it if you do.
I put my old 4790k...
This allows you to access areas from Hitman 1 GOTY while playing Hitman 3, so you need to own Hitman 3 to access those areas, it's not the Stand Alone Hitman 1 GOTY game.
"The HITMAN 3 Access Pass system allows you to access HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 locations in HITMAN 3.

This one of mine I slapped together a year or so ago.
AMD Phenon II X4, 4GB Ram, EVGA GTX 285, Matrox RT.X100
Running Windows XP SP3.
Another old parts machine is this one,
modded Xeon 771 X5640
Gigabyte board
6GB Ram
250GB WD Blue SSD
EVGA GTX 1050
EVGA 1050 PSU
Corsair 465X case with 6x...
I am using that port. I bought a 2.5G card for my Plex Server and have them directly connected for faster transfers between the machines, and using the 1Gb nics to hook to the network.
I am using my old GTX285 in my Retro XP machine I slapped together a couple of years ago.
The card still has a warranty too, I checked it a couple of weeks ago when I was doing my RMA on my 3080.
And I stuck this card in there too,
Back in the 90's there was a computer store on nearly every street corner. Do you all remember those days?
We also had the monthly computer shows where retailers all along the coast would come to sell hardware.
I had to RMA my 3080 a few weeks ago. Card died on a Friday and I started the ticket right away.
Did a few email exchanges over the weekend and was approved for an Advanced RMA on Monday, Tuesday submitted payment for the Advance RMA, they sent out the replacement on Thursday and I got it the...
I was browsing Dell the other night to see what the cheapest machine you could configure with a 3080 and 3090 were.
I also checked HP's site and their estimated delivery was 30 or so days.
I was using this old 775 system with an old GTX 1050 for surfing and watching HD media. Has a Xeon which is equivalent to a Q9650.
replaced it with my old 4790k system when I finally got a 5800X cpu.
I paid $40 for this Pioneer 1022k AVR and these JBL Studio S38 speakers a few years back.
The S38's sound like I have a subwoofer attached to the system since it has such great low end for a mid sized bookshelf style speaker.
I actually got my YY-0221 case back a few years ago.
I traded it to my brother, who traded it a friend, who traded it to another friend, who then gave it back to me.
I started mining yesterday with Nicehash's Quickminer.
I am tempted to put my 3080 into my old 4790k setup and just let that mine and use my 1080ti in my primary gaming machine as I seem to just play Overwatch and the 1080ti runs that game just fine at 3440x1440 @ 120Hz.
Also, why doesn't the...
What product? Adobe turned off the CS2 Activation/Authentication servers a few years ago so they basically gave away the program with a special key to activate the new downloads.
Not sure if it was just CS2 or the older ones as well.
Both of mine says Packaged in the USA on the serial number stickers on the boxes. The serial number of the new card is around 300 higher than my original one.
Ya, mine might have been a refurbed with a fresh cooler on it since it had the peel still on it. What makes me think that is that the bottom of the outer sleeve didn't have the EVGA seal on it, just the top was sealed.
