    OLED MONITORS!!!!!

True. But LG Display said only the 42inch panel size is coming in 2021 which means LG Electronics will probably announce the 42inch TV at 2022 CES. So we are still at least a year away from getting a 42inch TV. Smaller sizes will be even further away.

    OLED MONITORS!!!!!

I think that it is a given that it will be a 42" TV. If LG Display is making the panels then it will be a WRGB pixel structure which won't look as good for text when using it as a computer monitor. It won't stop people from using it as a computer monitor though...

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

well i guess we all do have patience since we have already been waiting over a year since this monitor has been announced and it looks like we have another 5-6 months to go...

    OLED MONITORS!!!!!

Yeah. I am thinking the same thing. 48 inch is still too big. But i can probably make due with a 42... Too bad they probably wont be out until the end of 2021.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

Well the Asus CES presentation went by and no mention of the PG32UQX. Hopefully some news breaks in the next couple of days. I just want a little bit of an update at least....

    OLED MONITORS!!!!!

We are jumping, but I believe if it was a 120hz panel then they would have put that as a major point in the press release.

    OLED MONITORS!!!!!

I am assuming because it is a 'pro' monitor. Plus, I don't think this monitor has the same type of oled panel that the LG TV's have.

    OLED MONITORS!!!!!

Pretty certain to be 60hz if they didn't mention anything. Also, I'm guessing since it is a pro monitor my guess is that it will be $4,999 as a price. Also, by "soon" I bet it will be available in the 2nd half of 2021. But maybe I a bit jaded ;-)

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

Well LG Display announced they will start making a 42 OLED TV in 2021. Something tells me it won't be until late 2021 that TV manufacturers start selling the TV in that size though. So the wait continues... When does ASUS present at CES?

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

So I figured I would start a mock betting pool for this monitor. What are the chances we hear anything about this monitor at CES next week? :)

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

Thanks. CES is nice to see new tech but I feel like anything that is announced at CES is still a year out in terms of the PC monitor space. This Asus monitor was announced at last years CES and it still isn't out yet. I am not into ultrawide monitors and I wanted something with better...

    OLED 4K 30" 60 Hz - Dell UP3017Q

The new Dell UP3221Q monitor caught my eye as well. Its got 2000 zone mini-led backlight with an IPS panel. I think that would be the only monitor that could come close to this OLED. Its $4,999 which is what the original price of this dell OLED was supposed to be. Very expensive but you...

    OLED 4K 30" 60 Hz - Dell UP3017Q

I wish I would have pulled the trigger on this monitor during the short time it was available.... i wonder how many were finally sold. I keep hoping someone might put theirs up on Ebay. But i worry about the longevitiy of these monitors.

    OLED 4K 30" 60 Hz - Dell UP3017Q

Ha! I still sometimes do searches for this monitor too. I think we are still away off from getting OLEDS in the ~30 size. At this rate I would take a 42inch 4k oled TV from LG and use that. 48inch is too big. But i think i could force myself to get used to a 42inch.

    I Bought a RTX 3080 Today!

Does Microcenter update their website for the 3080's near you? I have been checking my local microcenter's website and the 3080s are always greyed out. Maybe they are getting them in and selling out of them before they get a chance to update their website?

    I Bought a RTX 3080 Today!

it is a bad launch. No stock anywhere. And now there are rumors of a 3080 Ti. That is a big fat FU if true. There is no stock of 3080s and they want to paper launch a new card now?

    Radeon 6000 series speculation

Hmmm I honestly wonder if what AMD presented is the performance of their top end 6000 SKU. Why give a performance 'teaser' of your top end card that everyone can see is slightly slower than the RX 3080?? Unless they really plan to undercut on price. I think this might have been a teaser of...

    Radeon 6000 series speculation

Well the PS5 and XSX have 8 Zen2 cores but they have cut down on the L3 cache significantly to save on die space from the desktop version. The PS5 has a 40CU with 36 of them active to improve yield.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

If the news leaked that LG was working on a 42" OLED 4K TV then I would probably sit on the sidelines until that came out and then just bite the bullet and get use to the larger monitor and pocket the difference in money. But for now this Asus or Acer monitor is all I am considering...

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

Thanks for the heads up! That gives me a bit of hope. I know these monitors will be super expensive. If i had to guess I would say $2,999. Expensive, especially compared to a 48inch LG CX Oled, but 48 inches is just darn big for me to consider using it for a day to day monitor. I test drove...

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

Yeah. Nvidia's site went straight from notify to out of stock. I was refreshing it the whole time. Newegg's site went down. B&H Photo's site went down.... No luck... Of course Ebay now has a lot of listings at $1,200 a pop..... makes me sick...

The perfect 4K 43” monitor! Soon! Asus XG438Q ROG

The perfect 4K 43” monitor! Soon! Asus XG438Q ROG

I am very interested in this monitor as well. Has anyone read anything about the pixel layout of the panel on this monitor? I remember reading reviews on the Philips 43" Momentum monitor from last year that said it had a BGR (Blue, Green, Red) pixel layout instead of the normal RGB layout...

    LG 32UD59-B 32" 3840x2160

For me it is down to either this LG 32UD59-B monitor or the Samsung U32H850. They both have similar specs VA 32inch and freesync and both at $599 USD. Basically waiting on reviews of both before pulling the trigger.

    LG 32UD59-B 32" 3840x2160

I thought nvidia's fast sync was most beneficial on older games that are getting very high frame rates ~200FPS. At 4k it is doubtfull you will be getting super high frame rates unless it is a very old game or you have a really beefy system. I looked into the same thing when i was considering...
