Thats exactly what I'm thinking, here are my specs:
I2500K @ 4.5GHz (with hyper212 on top of it)
MSI P67a GD65
12Gb RAM @1333 (board just wont stay at 1600 when using all four slots)
2x GTX 970 SLI both @ +150/+500 on afterburner
OCZ Vertex 2
A couple mechanical drives
Well yes, quite cheap @...
Hi,
Quick question, im considering this upgrade and, from everywhere I'm reading, the performance boost is quite significant but Im wondering still about real world performance versus my current and if any new tech is on the horizon.
Any suggestions?
For my "perspective" on good performance...
MSI Motherboards are built to last and this is not the exception.
From what I'm seeing, this motherboard carries the same "attention to detail" I've come to expect from MSI.
In short, the damn thing feels very robust.
Hello all,
A quick question:
I need to distribute an Access 2007 db front-end to corporate users.
This .accdr front-end file connects to another .accdb file located in one of our servers.
The front-end is Chronos.accdr
The back-end is Chronos_RemoteDB.accdb
Now, here lies the problem...
Indeed.
Diversifying is key to maintaining supremacy in whatever it is you profit from, but not at the expense of ruining your current source of cash flow and capital for investment.
Android devices can be sold so cheaply that they have become what nokia worldwide a decade or so ago.
The US is definitively not biggest source of android activations (guesstimate).
From where I come from (Ecuador, South America) we have around 1.3-1.4 cellphones per citizen. (yes there are...
Hi guys,
Not entirely sure if this is the correct place for this, sorry if its not.
Anyone got any suggestion for a good internal bay card reader?
Newegg has a 20% off on those right now.
I'm mainly interested in being able to read MicroSD cards on it, but Im not sure if such a card...
Hello,
I have the following doubt.
Im running my xfx 5850 at 900/1150 and its stable on every game I throw at it. But, whenever I'm still OCed and watch a youtube video, the damn thing causes a vpu recovery.
Is this a problem with my OC or is it just flash being stupid?

The HD555 are the same thing and cost 85 atm (http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD555-Professional-Headphones-Channeling/dp/B0001FTVDQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1304657266&sr=8-1)
How to mod: http://mikebeauchamp.com/misc/sennheiser-hd-555-to-hd-595-mod/
Ok guys, that's a wrap. Thanks for all the help.
For informational purposes, here is what I ended up buying:
Antec Truepower 650w http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371021
Corsair Vengeance 8gb (2x4gb) DDR3 1600 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145345
With this setup, the memory would run @ 1333. Should I consider getting a 1600 kit instead to make it all run at 1600 or is there no real world impact here?
This is one: http://www.supertalent.com/datasheets/W1600UX4G7_spec.pdf
This is the other: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231193
Basically, one tested at 1.8v and the other at 1.5v. Have been running the 4 sticks at 1.5v so far.
I've been reading on and opinions seem to be split atm. Some say the upgrade is worth it (from 5850 to 6950) and some say wait for the 7000 series.
Anyone else got any input?
Well, it's hard to tell really. The past proc+mobo combo before going sandy bridge was a phenom x2 555 + asus am3 so I'm almost certain I was bottlenecking myself on it.
I was doing fine with games that relied mostly on gpu, but stupid games like WoW or console ports generally kicked the...
Hi guys/gals,
Here's the deal, my current setup is:

Proc and Mobo are on it's way from Newegg right now.
This is a gaming rig that drives a 1920x1080 display. (I know I could probably aim for more resolution but I'm more than comfortable with the current one)
And I'm wondering these 2...
