Decided to get a 40-43" 4K tv as my monitor.. Samsung JU7100 or other?

Just purchased the 49" version of the LG UF7600. 4:4:4 Chroma support and an IPS panel. I tried the Samsung UN40JU6500FXZA before it. The picture was very nice sitting directly in front of it, but I didn't care for the picture on off angles. I believe the JU6500 & the JU7100 use the same VA...

    Fallout 4

Can anyone tell me if there's a way to edit the quick keys for Stimpaks and such? I just started the game, but that key seems to be tied to Keyboard button 0 and it's not an editable key in the settings menu. There are other 10 key hotkeys apparently, and I'd like to edit those to a different...

Corsair 600T 100.00 AR at Newegg

Yes, at least with the white version of the case, the mesh side is included in the box. :) EDIT: Reading Steve's review of the black 600T, he has pictures of both the Window and Side mesh, but then makes a comment in the conclusion of the review about getting the window or mesh for $29.99. So...

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

The monitor has an HDMI 1.4 port on it, but your video card will also need a 1.4 output to be able to drive the monitors native res. EDIT: Actually look at post 63 here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1288941/enkays-mini-review-of-the-auria-eq276w-27-led-monitor-from-micro-center/60 Looks as...

    FF7 $6.99

Still install this and play from time to time, with my original 1998 Eidos port. Qhimm.com has a ton of patches available, including an OpenGL patch that allows you to run the game at any resolution you want, instead of the standard 640*480. Glad to see this was re-released for newer OS's...

Entire Cities Dead on Some World of Warcraft Realms

The Source engine has been around since 2004, as well, when HL2 was released. I don't know the specifics of the engine used in WoW, but certainly some graphical updates could have been done, no?

Z68X-UD3-B3 hwmonitor issue after S3 resume ..after UEFI bios update

Just flashed back to the F12 award BIOS with the EFI2AWD tool, on my Z68X-UD3H-B3. Yes, working with the UEFI bios was a nightmare. Half the time I wasn't even able to access the bios, and would constantly have to clear the CMOS to get back in. It would just freeze with my mouse cursor sitting...

Can't get HDD out of external to work

Yep, I've now tried all those combinations, including the horizontal jumper of CS & Cap limit - still no dice. Really odd, that the computers won't boot up with the drive plugged in. I have no way of knowing if the drive is truly dead. I'm still wondering if I can bypass the jumpers with a...

Can't get HDD out of external to work

The actual drive is a DiamondMax Plus 9. The enclosure says Maxter One Touch 80GB and it indeed is a grey/aluminum enclosure. The drive was jumpered to 'Cap Limit' which I don't exactly know what that is. The other jumper options are Master and Cable-Select. Removing the jumper entirely is...

Can't get HDD out of external to work

I have a maxtor 80gb drive that was initially an external drive, probably from the one touch series but I'm not certain. I lost the power cable to the enclosure so I decided to pull the drive from the enclosure and just plug it in as an internal IDE drive. I've now tried on 2 separate...

Should I even bother with a SSD on SATA2?

I switched from a mechanical drive to an Intel X25-M which is a SATA2 SSD, and the difference was night and day. Buy a current SSD that will saturate SATA3 and once you upgrade the rest of your system, the drive will come right along into that new build. I still have yet to upgrade my SSD, as...

    27" 2560x1440 auria at microcenter

Still 10+ new & 2 Open box at the MN location. The first time they got these in, they sold out in about 3 days when they had a stock of 20 or so units. I, like most users in this thread and the dedicated thread, love this monitor, and for the price think it's one of the best available on the...

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

Well, the games I'm playing right now are Source games (Half Life 2 & Left 4 Dead 2) they're always above 100FPS if I leave v-sync off so those games are buttery smooth. I also am playing through Fallout: New Vegas again. I'll keep an eye out in that game as that and Skyrim both use the Gamebryo...

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

Locuus, just to let you know (in case you weren't aware), you're comparing the 2407 FPW which is a S-PVA panel to an IPS screen. IPS is known to not have as deep of blacks as VA tech, and is also known to have IPS Glow. The trade off is, usually a better response time to that of VA panels, and...

    Auria EQ276W 27" LED Monitor $399.99

In all fairness, I'm still running a single 5870 with this monitor right now (soon to be replaced), and I'm able to game fairly well with it. However, yours and my idea of 'fairly well' may be different. The only game I've tried so far that's unplayable @ 2560x1440 is Metro 2033 (literally a...

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

I can access the BIOS with my monitor hooked up via Display-port. The internal scaler is slow to change resolutions, so that's why we're not seeing the POST info. Just hit DEL like normal and you should be able to access it no problem. :)

I have the Klipsch Promedia 5.1 Ultra's and the center channel is still too tall for this monitor with the stock stand. Yes! My local MC finally had this monitor back in stock and I raced over to pick one up. I now have it setup and I'm typing this message on it at the moment. I love it, so far! No dead/stuck pixels that I've found and 0 BLB either. Just about to start putting it through it's paces, with...

GTX 680 sells 60% better than GTX 580 (SWEclockers)

Although the GTX680 is pretty much the better card to the 7970, AMD didn't help anything here with the price-point they adopted this time around. I'm sure the lesser priced 6970 vs GTX580 was a reason that that card didn't have the sales figures the 680 is currently seeing.

I'm patiently waiting for it to come back in stock @ my MC. Seeing it available at the other store locations is just a big tease! :( If I get desperate enough, I'll order from the website and have it delivered. However, I'm not too interested in paying $30 in shipping on top of sales tax...

    1T or 2T with this memory ?

If you're able to run at that speed and timings in 1T, you should. It makes a fairly significant impact to overall bandwidth. 1T being faster than 2T.

    Auria EQ276W review ($399 27" 2560x1440 IPS)

Are you using a Dual-Link DVI cable? A single link DVI cable cannot run 2560x1440 resolution (I think max it can do is 1920x1200 @ 60Hz). Did the monitor include a DVI cable? I'd be under the assumption that it is DL DVI cable if it is included. To know for sure it should look like this...
