I think most people wouldn't pay over retail knowing that within months they will be more readily available. It's only the small 1% of "I didn't get one myself and I have money to blow and want it now" that are doing this.
Saw this on SlickDeals as well as GameStop posting it. There are GameStop's everywhere, might be able to get a chance since they're in store only. Called around and found a couple locally that told me over the phone they were getting an allocation of 10 each. Not sure what time to start the...
Truth be told I wanted an Aorus Xtreme because it matches my mobo LED's, that or a FTW or Strix. Probably will be happier waiting anyway, seems like there are still some issues to be ironed out in general. I think MOST people just want one prior to Cyberpunk release.
Had one in my cart at BB, lost it. Actually got to the place order screen on Newegg and hit place order, item removed due to lack of availability.
How to beat bots: Get a bot, or wait 2 months.
eBay currently: 100 3090's going for $3,000 USD. Enjoy.
All this confirms is that you just can't beat the bots. I also had nowinstock turned on for notifications on top of website notifications. They didn't even get a chance to pop and send a notification before the bots already had them.
and LOL I managed to get another Zotac in my cart from Newegg and got all the way to checkout and placed the order and then it was removed from my cart. I'm not that pissed because I loathe Zotac, but really, WTF.
Honestly I only went for the 3090 because I figured at it's price point it would be less sought after - but the bots obviously don't care. I'm sure we'll see this on eBay very shortly going for much more.
I looted most items but there are a lot of "junk" type items like notes, 0 value books, etc. Eventually over time if you leave enough it will apparently happen. So hopefully the patch is sooner rather than later.
Game is completely broken for me at the moment, can't play until they patch. The devs changed the loot system so that items stay on the ground forever and don't disappear (I imagine this is so people don't accidentally not loot quest items and lose them). The downfall is that there is a MAX...
I bought it, have been playing since it launched on Steam earlier. Still an enjoyable game, been long enough that I remember next to nothing about the the story etc. Pretty decent single player WoW like experience.
Have they posted measurements yet? I think I only have about a inch of length over my current Aorus 2080TI before the card would be hitting my side mounted CPU cooler. I'll be a sad boi if I can't fit the 3090.
Considering getting this now that there doesn't look to be much I'm interested in over the next month or so, maybe Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Recknong, Baldurs Gate 3 at end of Sept. Game playing relatively well now? I want something that actually takes advantage of, and looks good on my new OLED.
Played some this morning - definitely EA as you can't get very far at all sadly - loving the changes from the first game though. It will definitely be great once they get finished with it. First update says 60 days out, so if you aren't a huge supporter, I would say wait. There's probably...2...
Getting mine wall mounted next week. Biggest complaint about it on my desktop is there's really no way to route cords around it from keyboard etc. But I removed all icons, taskbar hidden, slideshow desktop background change every 10 min. It's a dream.
I picked up a CX 55 today and set it up for PC use.
To those who have an OLED for PC monitor...what kind of settings are using to minimize the potential for any kind of burn in? I had a Samsung LED before this so never did anything besides make the screen go off after 15 minutes, so input is...
Considering I've owned a litany of wired headphones / dacs / amps / setups that costs thousands of dollars, I think I know what I am talking about. Mobius is definitely not shit for the money. When you start talking about another wired set like a Fidelio, what kind of dac/amp setup are you...
Mobius is the shit. And I've tried a litany of $500-$1000 dollar headphones with nice DAC/AMP setups. For the money, truth be told you can't beat it. I dunno what this guy is talking about with an X3 or X2 being better, that's horseshit in my opinion. You need the Mobius to be plugged in...
