Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
It is strange.
I have 2P X5680 which has gotten 8102 for the last 21 WU, the other matching machine get them every now and then. But I do not think that my 2P E5-2680 has gotten any at all.
Well gave up on the VM idea. I did a quick 10.10 install (having troubles with later ones due to Nvidia card). Before I left work the TPF was between 16:45 and 17:00. Happy with that just need to remember to back up the work directory before switching to Win 7.
The Win 7 is an IT build, i am using the system at time to do soem schematic and layout work. Not sure about putting the iT build on a VM.
I tried changing the cores to 32 and did not see any difference. I may just do a dual boot, was trying to avoid that. I have lost a few work units before...

I have 30 cores and 12 gig ram for the ubunto 11.10 VB, when I look at the CPU usage on the windows side it is running about 70%. On...
I finally got it to work. I went in and deleted the machine specfic file, the work directory and one other file and it started working again. Guess something got corrupted, but lost a day of work .

Had some trouble when I setup the second box, I am not a Linux expert. I cloned the drive so I would not have to repeat the SW install. I did not think that each machine had an ID, so lost about 4 days of folding as it was screwing up the work units and had to restart them after fixing the ID.
Been reading the forums for ages (10-15yrs), thought I had registered a long time ago but guess not.
Anyway started back folding around Christmas time on my WHS (Q6600 and 9600GT) and my main rig at nights and weekends (i7-930 @4Ghz and 460 GTX). I had a couple of extra workstations at work...
