Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I had the same issue fixing my son-in-law's Dell laptop with AMD. The laptop is only 2-3 years old, but on a fresh install of 11 24H2 using Rufus, it did not find the wifi adapter. I had to use a USB wifi to finish installing the drivers.
Thanks for that. I'm also thinking that I may go with the Radeon RX 9070 XT instead of the NVIDIA since its comparable to the 5070 in performance but for less money. Not sure yet.
Calm down guys? Jesus...It was another option from a guy that I know and have respect for with his IT background. I still haven't ordered anything, and it probably won't be for another month or so. Just getting all my options before I make the decision. When I do, I probably won't post it...
I asked my old gaming buddy "Flying Penguin" from PC Abusers on recommendations. He sent me to this site:
https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/AMD-Ryzen-5-5050-Configurator
So I selected my components:
Operating System: Windows 11 Pro
Gaming Chassis: CyberPowerPC AVENTUS 360V High Air-Flow...
Hi everyone,
I have a refurbished Dell laptop that has a owership field with a city and state. This is on a Dell E5450. I'd like to remove this info if possible. I did a google search but nothing works. I tried the Dell Command Configure, but is says that I need a WMI-ACPI BIOS. The MFG date of...
I have them wrapped in bubble pack in groups of 5 each, placed inside a box with more bubble wrap and some foam. If I pick the box up, the contents do not move so I know they are securely wrapped with no internal movement.
If I can't sell them here, I may decide to sell them locally avoiding...
I'm currently playing Horizon Forbidden West on my laptop since it has a 8 core CPU, were my desktop is only a 4 core and only 16 GB of ram. On my desktop, I usually have to wait with the verbiage "Shader compilation" to complete. I play usually for 2 or 3 hours per day.
Forgot to mention that...
I do have a Costco only 2 miles away, and a Best Buy. I know I could easily build it myself, but I don't want to deal with the build anymore. At 70 years of age, I rather op for something already build and ready to go.
I've had my old Asus motherboard now going on 10 years that I built myself. Now I'm in the market to replace it with a pre-built desktop. I've been looking at these Legion Tower 5i Gen...
I've done this on several, but on some I had to disable updates and even disconnect from the internet. I was told to use PowerShell - Terminal Admin instead of command prompt.
If I remember correctly, it's $30 for home and $60 for pro. Not sure about the other versions, and for home you only get 1 year last I heard.
Got this from AI:
Since so many have asked about hours etc. I've decided to unpack the box and check each drive. It will take me a few days to report the info. Stay tune.
I have a lot of 33 total 2.5" mechanical hard drives for sale. Each drive was tested for bad sectors with Macrorit: https://macrorit.com/disk-surface-test/disk-surface-test.htm. The drives were connected via USB then tested. Selling them all in one batch for $65 shipped. Not breaking up the lot...

I installed iot on a spare laptop that I have, but I went back to 23H2. Reason: the Snipping Tool did not work for me. It has the icon and when I click on it, it appears to open but then nothing happens. I use that tool quite a bit.
Looking for a working 3.5" 4 TB mechanical hard drive. 5200 or 7200 RPM is fine. Please check drive with Crystal Disk. Looking for one with no bad sectors.
I'm still on the fence as well. I currently have Win11 on my gaming laptop, a Dell G5 SE 5505 with version 24H2. I'm currently setting up a replacement Dell laptop G7-7588 with Windows 11 23H2 installed. I've had bad luck with 24H2 version with some games not starting up. On my desktop, I have...
Got Windows 11 LTSC IoT installed on an old Dell E6540 laptop. I used Rufus to create the USB installer after getting the ISO from massgrave. Install took less than 15 minutes even on this old Dell laptop that was released back in 2014. It also installed all the drivers. Super clean install with...
Found a walk-through. https://youtu.be/BErU2f8Ep4U
Looks okay, but the graphics seem dated like from 7 years ago. I need to watch the rest before deciding if its worthwhile.
My 40 year old son who grew up playing with me on the original DOOMs and Quake games has it, but not installed yet. He has played all the DOOM tiles. He's currently involved in playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. My youngest daughter at 29 is a RPG player. Would not be interested in playing DOOM.
