Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I know it has been said but I would highly suggest upgrading to a 64 bit OS. It's much faster and compatible with almost all hardware these days. You also lose the RAM limitation.
Honestly I used to have a big wide Xtrac, over time it became worn out and I picked up a $5 pad from Staples. There's no difference except for the size of the pad itself which doesn't really matter IMO.
I put 4 separate small wooden blocks under each foot of the case to elevate it from the carpet. It looks great I can't even tell when looking at it and it allows the PSU to suck in air from the bottom.
In a nutshell just make sure to have the cable exit through the grommet closest to the port you need to plug into. Pretty much common sense. Like others have aid your case will make it easy for you.
There's tons of great threads on this forum where people post their setups. I love looking through these threads but I wish there was a way to set it such that I would only view the posts that contained images.
This would allow me to view more images, more quickly. Overall it would be more...
II have a vertex 3 240GB SSD and 16GB of ram.
Would I notice any performance increase if I created a RamDisk and say loaded Photoshop on it? As of now from a cold start Photoshop launches in 2.5 seconds. Would it open even faster if it was on a RamDisk?
What about for other uses?
I would say buy 8 gigs ( 2 4GB Sticks), and then check to see how much available memory you have when working in PS. If It's less then a gig then buy more ram if not then your fine.
When I buy things from Amazon like computer parts there is never sales tax. Does anyone know if this also applies when purchasing a cell phone? Considering the sales tax is calculated based on the un-subsidized price, the savings, at the time of purchase could be considerable.
I've seen a few different power supply calculators around that give different results. Which ones have you found to be the most accurate and realistic?
