Hardforum Team,
I have a Gigabyte 4070 Ti Gaming OC GPU and recently have been having problems while streaming on OBS Studio playing Star Citizen.
Currently I have driver 566.36 since its "stable" from what I hear for the 40/30 series. Wondering if I download the latest from Nvidia if that...
HardForum Team,
I am build an ITX form factor portable gaming rig with the following hardware:
1. CPU = AMD Ryzen 7800X3D
2. GPU = Gigabyte 4070 Ti Gaming OC 12GB
Still piecing together the rest slowly, but in my previous builds I have always used SeaSonic PRIME Gold Series. But, I also like...
True. I could get by on a 120mm and single slim fan for the CPU. It would do fine. But, if I every need to upgrade the CPU I could have the 240mm ready an waiting. Yes overkill till that happens.
Also, THANK YOU for the 'Link Database'. I will utilize that for sure!
Hi HardForum Team,
I am building out an portable ITX gaming build. So far, I have the following parts allocated:
1. AMD Ryzen 7600X3D CPU
2. ASRock B850i Lighting Wi-Fi MOBO
I am asking about the AIO first, before I start down the path of an ITX case. I'm thinking a 240mm AIO would do...
Hard Forum Team,
I have a Intel Arc B580 in-route from B&H Photo, and wanted to make an all Intel build to leverage the AI features between the (2) devices. If I could get the AI to help myself and another IT college with task, that would be a plus! My thought processes, is to look into the...
Yes. I would like PBO functionality to help control temps. All-in-all, its looking like I have narrowed down my search/pick to the ASRock B650i Lighting Wi-Fi. Thank you very much for all the feedback.
For the ASRock A620i Lighting Wi-Fi, do you not lose CPU overlock functionality? If the ARM setup is the same that's great. But, if I spend a little bit more for the B-model(s) I can unlock the CPU options. Correct me if I am wrong please.
This is all good information in my decision paths by...
Appreciate the response. I'm with you on not spending $200.00 on a budget build. Just on curiosity I have been researching the:
JGINYUE B650i Night Devil
Yes.. this is a cheap board and has more CONS than PROS, but its affordable. A620s, I believe have slower VRM's. My focus will be on the...
Hard Forum Team,
Currently, I am researching semi-budget ITX motherboards to accompany the following hardware specs:
CPU = AMD 7600X3D Zen 4
GPU = Intel ARC B580 12GB LE
Storage = 1TB SK Hynix Gold
Case = TBD
PS = Sea Sonic or Super Flower SFF
RAM = TBD
Cooling = AIO ( unsure on sizing )...
I did demo the mentioned cases at Microcenter. Was quite astonished on SFF cases. They look smaller in person, compared to the pictures. I do wonder on thermals inside SFF's but with the correct AIO size and fans should be fine. The 7600X3D has a TDP of 65W! This is going to help the thermals...
Wow! This is good information. Already got a Intel Arc B580 on backorder on B&H, picked up a 7600X3D from Micro Center 2 weekends ago, and got storage squared away. The handle is in the 'PRO' category for my portability requirements. I will research the S610 today.
Thanks,
Yes. I saw the Cooler Master n200p V2 was $300.00+ for the AIO and power supply. I like to part my builds out piece-by-piece and try to stray from combo purchases unless its a really good Micro Center combo; or what not. For now, going to still research. But the search is narrowing down. This...
Hard Forums Team,
I am currently researching ITX portable gaming cases. Looking for ease of travel and AIO support. These are my current parts:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7600X3D
GPU: Intel Arc B580 12GB
STORAGE: SK Hynix Gold P31 M.2
Thanks for the feedback!
Thank for for your feedback. Much appreciated! I have a Microcenter 3hrs from me, that I could scoop the 7600X3D chip no problem. My main game I try to play if Star Citizen. I know its not close to optimization. But, the X3D chips and that cache is sweet. Though, what intrigues me with the Intel...
Hello HardForums,
I purchased the new Intel Arc B580 12GB GPU, and wanted to start researching on what budget CPU/Motherboard to pair with this. I am currently torn between:
1. Hybrid Build - AMD CPU - 7600X3D w/ Intel Arc B580 12GB GPU
2. Intel Build - Intel CPU - Core Ultra 5 245K w/ Intel...
This is just a feel good rant, but I wanted to let everyone know the AMD Ryzen 5950x is one hell of a CPU! I was torn between the 5800x3d and the 5950x but I'm glad I chose the latter. I am rocking an air cooled Torrent build with an NH-D15 cooler and my thermals never get past 73C while under...
I figured it out. The first 180mm fan needed to be hooked up to the RGB slot on the motherboard. Once I downloaded the RGB fusion software it was playing properly. ( MOBO = x570s Aorus Master ) Thanks for the reply though.
Hardforum Team,
I just completed my new Fractal Design Torrent build yesterday. Everything turned on except the RGB fans that come with the case. I followed the instructions in the manual even though they are pretty vague. Wanted to see if anyone else has the same case and if you went thru the...
Researching Thermalright now. The price per performance is unmatched really.. Got to consider this brand when I'm ready to pull the trigger. if the Noctua DH-15 goes on sale ill snag it but if its still $100+ I might go with Thermalright. Thanks for the feedback Sly.
I am building a new gaming rig and the cooler is up next on the list of parts to get. My question is: What are peoples experience with Noctua NH-D15s and IceGiant ProSiphon Elites coolers?
Here are my current part specs:
Fractal Design Torrent RGB ( BIG AIR FOCUSED CASE )
x570s Aorus Master...
Very true. I am going to pull the trigger on the 5800X3D next month or two. Just bought the x4 RAM on backorder. ( have the CASE, MOBO and now RAM off the list )
I did pick up the x570s Aorus Master chipset, which does allow for PBO. Not sure if I will OC right outta the box. Maybe start with the AIR cooling option and run some stress test. If I really want to push it, I'll look at AIO's.
