Folding@Home bigadv EOL Anniversary Challenge on Jan. 31st - Feb. 7th: The race has finished.
Lost a GTX 970 I "borrowed" from my son as he reclaimed it. However, I just added a GTX 1060 6GB this afternoon so it will be a good bump in ppd.- Xilikon

Mowing over high PPD folders from yesteryear
Nice to see old faces here! I do remember I reached the top 10 (or it was the first position, been a while) with a stack of 20 work laptops waiting to be assigned and all folding with some computers at home. I remember breaking 20k ppd and it's so high. Today, A single 3090 can rack millions of ppd- Xilikon

And not only that but even before that in 2010-2011 when some projects is getting half the points of others projects and people was trying to argue with PG about how they calculate. Isn't it normal that the v7 FAH web control show 1,730,491 points earned when in the FAH stats for mine, it's 34,142,115 ? If I check for team stats, it display correctly and I wondered where is the issue- Xilikon

What was the very first video card you ever bought?
First real video card I bought was a Diamond FireGL 1000 Pro with 3DLabs Permedia 2 around 1997. Before that, it was the Matrox Mystique but it's fuzzy a bit.- Xilikon

I bought a GTX 970 to replace a GTX 760 which will go to my son's system (he got a 550Ti which is a bit slow for what he game). I don't want to pay the early adopters tax and found a new one at a nice bargain price.- Xilikon
