Woah - quite alot of strange posts here by people defending "their" choice of screen!
I recently switched from a 1080p 24" 120hz gaming monitor to a 27" 1440p Korean IPS.
At first the IPS was so slow and it felt a bit like there was sub-30 fps when I was hitting 60+ all the time. After using...
Thanks, will have a look for myself and see!
Ok, but does it warp the PCB of the GPU alot? Are you comfortable using it like that?
I am very tempted to just get a 980ti + the 500W SFX-L and be done with it.
Will the Silverstone 500W SFX-L fit? I have read that the GPU might block the modular cables of the PSU?
At the moment I got a 450W SFX-L and a 980, but as I will probably buy a 980ti I am looking at getting another 50 watts just to be safe.
Cheerios
My current case is the SilverStone Raven RVZ-01, and I get better temps/noise with aftermarket non-blower style coolers that dump the heat in the case. ( EVGA reference VS EVGA SC ACX 2.0 ).
CPU temps went up a few degrees though.
Exactly, 450w is enough to OC/Bench/Game, but not when it comes to the acoustics! Had it for quite some time, bought it before the 600w was released. Come on Silverstone, release the SFX-L already! :)
I'd say go with the 980 for the extra oomph. If you could go SLI ( larger case ) you might go with 970 but IMHO not for mITX. I got the 450W SFX with 4770k/980 ( both OC'd ALOT ) and the PSU is quite noisy. I am waiting for the 120mm SFX-(L)
