Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Did this just the other day. Digital copy of Minecraft. On the living room Xbox I set it as my home Xbox for the gamer tag with Gold Live. I then created a new gamer tag for my wife and signed in with it. Since it is my Home Xbox for my Gold account, her account has access to all of the...
I just went through the same issue with mine. the tv was set to some legacy 4k mode by default and the Xbox didn't like it. i changed the port on the tv to 4K at 60hz with HDR and it started working.
my Walmart had around 50 of the 360s for $99. they were handing out wrist ands to guarantee one. they only had 3 left when I got in line an hour before they started selling them. $99 is the only reason I bothered doing black Friday. good gift for the grand kids.

I can't tell you how many times my 4 year old grandson is over watching a cartoon on Netflix and when I tell him it's time to eat I hear "Xbox Pause". makes me laugh every time
Exactly.. I was waitng on a delivery 2 weeks ago. on saturday the Fed Ex tracking status was "on truck for delivery" with a note saying to be delivered next business day. On Monday the status was "on truck for delivery" with a note late in the day that said no delivery attempt made. It was...
I just started it recently as well. the level of thought and detail involved in the game amazes me. My wife, who is not a gamer, said, "it's just like watching a movie".
My wife got me one over the week-end. We all complained about being sore yesterday just from playing the sports games. The vidoes after the games are over are hilarious. So far bowling is my favorite.
I hate to resurrect and old thread but I finally got this working. There were 2 issues. 1st, regarding the high temps, one of the plastic hold downs on the OEM heat sink had broken. I replaced it with a thermaltake heatsink and now it runs around 50C instead of 80C. The second issue is the...
Thanks for the info. I think i'll start with MakeMKV and go from there. I tried handbrake and wasn't patient enough to mess with all of the options. My current PC is a couple of years old so I may hold off on the h.264 for a bit.
How long does this typically take? If I wanted to convert to H.264 after this how long would that take? Is there a start to finish check list or instruction lis for this?
My Xbox won't turn on unless the TV is on and the HDMI input is selected. Once when I was watching a movie I paused it and switched inputs on the TV. When I switched back to the Xbox there was a message about the HDCP device being disconnected. Perhaps this has something to do with it.
Is it possible that the driver is switching the video back to the VGA port. Try hooking a monitor up to that and then use the nvidia utilities to setup up the HDMI connection. I had a similar issue with my set up and had to use a regular monitor on the VGA port to get everything working. Once...

I did the same thing with my 60gig. supposed to come with Lego Indiana Jones and Kung-Fu Panda. Thought they were preloaded because I couldn't find discs. Had to dig through the dscarded box to find them.
I'm beginning to think the motherboard is flaky. I went in to the bios to the hardware monitoring section. It said the CPU was at 37 degrees Fahrenheit (not Celsius) and that Zone 1 and Zone 2 were both over 250 degrees Fahrenheit (ambient was around 70). I shut down. went back into the bios and...
it's not a burnt disk. I work for a micorosft business partner so it's a not for resals disk.
Memory upgrade is on the list, just have to wait til after christmas. I'll get a disk utility and try that.
I am having a strange issue installing win 7 ultimate 32 bit. The hard drive originally had XP on it. When I first put the win 7 disk in I chose to do a clean install. The system went through the normal set up options until the first reboot. After the reboot I get a black screen that says...
I know both of these systems are old but new hardware is not in the budget right now. That being said which system is better for a MCPC?
System 1) AMD Athlon 64 3500+, 4X512mb pc3200 (dual Channel), ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO AGP, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
System 2) Intel P4 3.8ghz, 1X 2G PC5400...
This may be a long shot, but have you checked for stuck keys on the keyboard. If the ctrl or alt key are stuck they will affect mouse behavior. pressing ctrl-alt-del may unstick them for a short time relieving the symptoms. I have this issue with the shift key every once in a while.
mine died july 4th this year. I had it back by the 16th. I couldn't send it out until the 7th due to the weekend. So 9 days from sending it out to getting it back. I got my original unit back.
My 360 manufactured 12-01-05 died on July 4th. It was a gift and I did not have a receipt. They fixed it no questions asked. I got it back on the 16th. I got my original unit back.
My unit with a manufacture date of 12-01-05 died (froze and then the 3 red lights) on July 4th of this year (2 1/2 years of moderate use). After 5 minutes on the phone with customer service (on the 4th), I was sent a UPS shipping label via e-mail. I sent it out on Monday the 7th and got it...
I have to agree. I sit about 5 feet from mine and the noise is not noticable unless there is absolutely no noise coming from the surround sound. I suppose if it was connected to a small screen that I had to sit close to then it might be more of an issue, but even then I doubt it would be any...
