The 5080 was listed for a few minutes. It's been removed now.
Dropping thousands of 5080s on a Tuesday afternoon is so on point for Nvidia. What a major F U to those of us on the Verified Priority Access list.
My $1,600 ASUS 5080 has been returned.
It hurts because I wanted a new card for my new 9800X3D build, but in the end it was just too expensive being so close to a 5090FE and so much more than a 5080FE. They can shove it.
I was able to buy a 5080 TUF from Best Buy for a grand total of $1,614 including tax. I feel sick, and my wallet is no longer speaking to me.
I have a week left to decide if I'll keep it. If I could sell my 3080Ti for $500 or so maybe, but even then, spending over 1K for a card with 16GB of...
I ended up ordering from Dell directly and the first panel had a dead pixel right in the middle of the screen.
The replacement looked pristine until the first few pixel refreshes, and now it has vertical banding. Not horrible by any means, but enough to be noticeable in darker content such as...
My Panasonic UT50 from 2012 still looks amazing and I'd love a updated version. It has the Neo panel so the blacks are excellent and the colors pop much like an OLED. It's also glossy. 😍
I wonder if Panasonic ever experimented with 4K plasma.
So the 39" version is just LG recycling unsold panels from the current model and adding home theater crap that no one asked for. Meh.
The 45" should be impressive but very expensive of course. The current model on display at my Best Buy is stunning but the PPI is definitely noticeable. The...
I'm on my third replacement from Best Buy after picking up one during the recent price drop to $650.
The first had horrible dirty screen effect even after several pixel refreshes. The second had micro scratches caused by the screen protector Dell uses for shipping as well as a very deep scratch...
It's rather peculiar that AMD would delay the launch by only one week, but better to be sure. Obviously the replacement batches going out to retailers have the fix. I wonder what it was?
I mean, technically I own one. :D
I was able to snag a 4080 Super FE from Best Buy for store pickup this weekend. I'm currently using a 3080Ti that has been excellent, so I'm still unsure if I'll keep the 4080 or not. The FE is one sexy card.
I have a few Xbox digital gift cards for sale or trade. Looking for 85% in PayPal G&S or Amazon GCs :)

I couldn't resist! I picked up a 7800X3D for $350 using only gift cards.
I'm sure it will drop a bit more, but this seems like a great deal compared to the launch price.
Tomorrow is the last day for me to decide whether to keep or return my 7800X3D, and honestly I don't know.
If it's a simple AGESA and BiOS fix that would certainly be great. With such small amounts of overvoltage causing these extreme problems, you do have to wonder what the safe amounts...
Man, I haven't opened my 7800X3D yet and I may end up just sending it back. Some users are having it die on first boot without even turning EXPO on.
This has got to be a hardware defect on some 7000 series chips.
My 7800X3D is arriving tomorrow and I still have no idea which motherboard I'm going with. :D
The Aorus Master is my top choice, but damn is that thing expensive.
Got my order in directly from AMD at 9am. My last AMD chip was the Athlon 1800+, so I'm excited to finally go back to team red! I'll be pairing it with a 3080Ti for now which should be a nice combo.
I was just thinking about this. Unless you're really into this hobby, these product names are just gibberish and now they all look almost identical. Why make it so confusing, AMD? o_O
The pricing is complete insanity at every tier, but especially so at this level!
I remember thinking about buying a 1070Ti at $400 and scoffing at how expensive it was. We were all so innocent then! Now look where we are.
I keep looking for deals on X670E boards, but all I see are price increases and out of stock notices.
I can buy a 7900X for way less than the board I wanted with it... if it were in stock. 🙄
Is it brand new?
Just make sure to verify that it is indeed a 3070 with GPU-Z, and run some benchmarks. I've seen an uptick in scammers trying all sorts of things.
I'm curious about the kind of temperatures you see with the Noctua. I have a D15 and I'd like a 13700K but seeing that it is basically a 12900K, I'm a bit worried.
I paid $64 for the 10-year warranty on my 3080Ti before the price changes, so I'd rather keep it IF it means something. There doesn't seem to be clear communication from EVGA if there is an option to keep the extended warranty and if they plan on supporting it.
If their plan is to only support...
Any word on extended warranties? I have read conflicting stories from people that have contacted customer support, with some being told to ask for refunds because EVGA has no intention to offer support beyond the standard 3 year warranty.
