I have the Encore ENLWI-G(2). I get signal strength of about 50% (3 bars) but internet connection seems non existent. My T61 laptop in the same distance gets better signal and connection. The router is a WND3700.
How does these compare with the one you've recommended...
I have a N router and a G adapter that is complete crap.
Any suggestions on wireless adapters? It can be either pcie or usb.
Do more antennas mean better signal? I see newegg has a few that have 2 or 3 antennas but there are more reviews on the ones with 2 antennas.

Hi.
I'm subscribed to Time Warner Digital Cable. I was wondering if I could watch digital cable on my pc. I have the cable wire where my pc is (when I use to have cable instead of dsl) but no digital cable box. Is there a card (or is it called a tuner) that allows me to pick up all the...
I read all over the net that artic silver 5 can go bad. How can I tell if it has gone bad? I kept my AS5 stored inside the refrigerator for 2-4 years, but it was laying on it's side. I have also read that I should remix the thermal compound. How would I go about doing that?
Much appreciated.
Here are some products I'm selling. Shipping will be by USPS priority mail or UPS/FedEx Ground. Payment has to be made by Paypal. They are priced to sell or give me your best offer.

Hey.
I currently have a Socket A Tbred 2500+ (or was it 2200+) processor in a computer that my sister uses. It's not what it use to be, running Windows XP and the newer programs. I'm looking to give her a cheap upgrade, probably the Socket 754 Processors. However, is it worth while? Will there...
That darker spot is bothering me now. Looking at my digi pictures, it looks like my lens was dirty. That dark spot is noticable on bright colors.
Should I contact newegg about this or Benq. I'm thinking about a replacement.
Got my monitor today and it looks fantastic! However I have one problem, when viewing a white screen, there is a small portion that looks darker than the other whites. When I push the screen near that spot (not on it), u see the liquid get pinched in that darker spot. Seems like something is...
How do you turn off sli? I have a 7600 gt and every startup i get the notification in my taskbar that sli mode won't run. It's kinda annoying, makes me feel I didn't build the computer right.
Tried looking but can't find the option to turn it off.
Is there any hardware that will scale for you? Just like how a DVD player will add the black bars for 1080? Maybe a small adapater that will add the black bars to Xbox video, etc.
Wouldn't mind getting one of those.
I bought one.
I don't really care for HDMI. I consider it a bonus. I was already looking for a 24" monitor to use for my PC that will give me the extra space I need to work on photos and illustrations and has the capability of displaying correct colors. I won't be moving my monitor around so...
I'm about to order a 24" lcd soon. Is it definite this monitor stretches? I plan to hook up a regular DVD player to it to play widescreen movies and needless to say, my pc. I got lost in all the discussion and technical talk. So anyone kind enough to just clarify for me. Thank you.
I think he caught something there. Widescreen on this monitor should be black bar'd by 10%, 5% on top and bottom. Just by using the eye, it looks like more than 10% of the screen is lost. Maybe I'm just being skeptical from all the 1:1 talk and should be thankful there are black bars at the least.
Sorry, I'm getting confused. I thought someone stated that you can connect HD devices with a DVI adapter into the DVI slot of the Samsung so it will accept 1080p signals. Or connect with many devices using a hub.
I don't believe any review has the 1:1 settled. 1:1 is for directly connecting your external players (not pc) into the monitor. Seems like some people are confused, it's okay, I just learned it recently.
Dell blows....you know why.....cause I get charged tax!!!! I don't even have a dell...
I'm not taking sides nor do I dislike the 244t, but I think your both right on this. I for one love the 244t and can't decide if I want that or the benq.
People have tested to show that the 244t has input lag but alot of lcds have it. Is it bad, not necessarily as long as it's not too great...
DangerlsGo, thanks for the review.
Can you elaborate on the user adjustments allowed on the screen?
Brightness
Contrast
Saturation
Hue
Sharpness
Tint
RGB Color (I believe you said this already)
Can you tell me if they have any of these options? Am I missing any that it does have...
I'm going to do mostly photo editing and building vector graphics. Which one should I go for besides the fact that samsung has more pixels. Which one has better color rendition? Will there be any difference in colors if I get a spyder to calibrate the colors?
I hear rave reviews for the 244t...
how good is this monitor compared to color accuracy or being color corrected to match prints? I'm looking at lcds and this is certainly a bang for the buck. Anyone use this for photo editing? How would you compare this to the Samsung 244t in terms of accuracy?
How is the Westinghouse LVM-37w3 compared to this in terms of photo editing? I like the idea of a 37", but I prefer to have my money spent on something that would give me exact colors. I don't play much games but do add hrs of cs:source when I'm stumped of ideas.
How do you use the 2nd IDE channel on the Epox MF570SLI? I have one ATA 100 drive that I connected to the IDE2 channel and it's recognized in the Jmicron Raid utility (but I don't want to raid), but can't be seen in Windows x64. Anyone know how to use this 2nd ide channel?
My desktop alt->properties->advanced.... nvidia temperature settings reports 10C less than what Everest reports. Which one is correct? On Everest, the osd display reading is labeled as GPU diode. Is that a reading from a different part of the card than what Nvidia is reading?
Thanks.
I googled and I check out that link. The only information I can find is the pencil trick volt mod. I am looking to overclock the 7600gt more, however every site I see is interested in volt modding the 7900gt and barely mentions the how-to for a 7600gt.
Are they the same chipboard? It looks...
Rivatuner lets me push up the core speeds but when I use the desktop properties nvidia tab to overclock and try to test it, it keeps giving me failed to run test, lower speed.
I have the latest driver installed, did the pencil voltage mod, and have a zalman vf900 installed.
What software...
Anyone have a guide or a link to one that shows how to do the voltage mod on an evga 7600gt? What is the voltage on a stock evga? Is there a software to check the voltage or do I have to use a multimeter?
Does the Zalman VF900-cu or Accelero X1 fit on the 7600gt? I want something more quieter. The egg and arctic cooling's site do not have the 7600 listed anywhere so I'm thinking they don't have this info yet. Thanks.
I've googled and everything, and the only thing I found helpful was a guide to undervolt an led fan. I don't use led fans. So can somehow show/link/direct me to how I can undervolt a fan to 5v and/or 7v. Thank you.
On board broadcom gigabit lan on my gigabyte motherboard does not respond well with my modem in bridged mode. Causes a hang at the beginning of windows startup. Is anyone else having this problem? Did many tests to come to this conclusion
So is there a known problem with gigabit lan and...
I lowered the clockspeed to around 3.5ghz and it seems to work fine now. I have another problem though.
The driver for the onboard lan that I installed from gigabyte's website causes my win xp x64 to lag for around 2 minutes after windows startup (when taskbar appears). After many fresh...
I found out the problem is my gigabyte netlink gigabit onboard lan. The driver I have installed lags my x64. I can't uninstall it! I use the device manager, then uninstall driver. After a restart, it finds the hardware and automatically installs driver. Before installing it the firrst...
