Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
DD: DA is a fantastic game and I`m happy that PC gamers get a chance to finally play it as well.
Great and varied soundtrack (give it a listen in Youtube), reasonably sized open world (not huge, but plenty of different locations), neat if sometimes frustrating pawn system and genuinely...
It needs to end to be honest. We literally went in circles in the two first games, struggling like rats in a closed cage. One way or another, the world has to properly end or to be reborn in its "correct" state. Or the inevitability of the cycles has to be explained somehow without forcing...
Yes, this is definitely a clearance sale since the next gen products are going to be a lot better (at least I hope so) and its pointless to have a lot of goods in warehouses that are not likely to sell much after 14/16nm chips are out.
If anything, I`m surprised they waited this long.
Have to admit that it looks like a performance pancake on all cards. 1080p with no costly AA and those are the averages? I wonder what is the performance killing feature/s this time... Whatever it is, it´s very likely not worth it. ;)
Rendering power should be more or less on par with 280X now, since it´s usually around ~10-20% ahead of 380 in stock clock configuration. Whether the memory bandwidth comes up as a bottleneck limitation... We shall see soon.
But "not successfully replacing" is too dramatic in any case. Card...
If they made it in classic MMO format with all the mob farming and killing raid bosses with bazillion hit points? Nope.
Open world roaming game that would have reasonable amount of players sharing each instance? Why not. And actually keep the supposedly better FPS mechanics instead of WOW-style...
Nightmare difficulty that was added in later patch makes flamethrower a mere get out of jail card, since it runs out of juice so fast. At that point it is better to avoid tangling with the xeno at every opportunity, because flaming it away just pisses it off and makes it more active. Which leads...
I think Bethesda would fleece any game deal of this type REALLY HARD, since the anticipated sales through normal channels are sure to be high. Even Nvidia would probably balk at the cost.
Best game in 2014 for me. Best horror game in recent years as well. Buy the collection version when you feel like it (discount or not) and reserve 15-20 hours for the main game and few more for the DLC stuff.
And don´t try to complete the game in long sessions, the stress will wear you out...
This kind of crud is the easy, low hanging fruit of monetization. Low investment by the company (whip up few skins and +stats) and potentially quite a nice payday.
I guess making new maps and stories and mechanics is just not cool anymore. Too bad, because that´s the stuff I would actually...
Personally I don´t find it worth my time trying to squeeze everything out of my graphics card (50mhz makes little difference outside benchmark values). You can easily find an area where the stability is pretty much absolute by backing down from the crash area sufficiently and not being greedy...
I hope he has a model that can be downvolted. I have R9 280 here myself and I managed to make my room considerably less toasty by simply going into basic 280 settings which is 850 core and dropped the voltage as low as it went.
And I apologize for my inappropriate tone. I hope e3venom can do...
You read [H] or do you just post in the forums? Let me show you:

He wanted less power use, not more. :)
There´s nothing in the market that would exactly fit that criteria.
960 is bit too weak outside 1080p, but it has a low power use.
970 is reasonably more powerful, but uses somewhat more power (and there are few models with awful fans so beware those)...
Companies want to profile you and sell/use the info for their own benefit. Google and others are already eating the cake and now Green team wants their piece too.
I wonder what the OS landscape and drivers look in 10 years... Everything is forced and vendor locked maybe? :)
Probably because some people who were complaining earlier that they would not buy a card without HDMI 2.0 support?
If you haven´t noticed it yet, these forums have a lot of people who like to vomit all over others at every chance they get while guarding their precious BRAND for justice.
Two minds about this.
Interested? Yes.
But I avoid being the early adopter, no matter what consumer product it is. Heck, we are still finding about bad things in 900-series this far from the actual release. Probably not safe to buy anything before it´s gone through couple years of wringing...
MP bar? Getting (bad) flashbacks from Demon´s Souls right away. :)
As for the matchmaking... Biggest problem are the weapon upgrades. Game should match with soul level + highest upgraded weapon and armor from entire inventory of a player. So no twinks with +15 invading new players. Then again...
