    Have you tried increasing the RAM to maybe 1.30v? I recently had issues with memory on a x99 build and it turned out the RAM needed extra power.

    I believe you can use a program like Speedfan to control the fans and set them to 100%. See if that helps 3d mark score. Also check the Nvidia control panel to see if that is set to High Performance.

    I would try first to update all the drivers and then run a memory test. I believe you can use Memtest 86 and see if your RAM is good.

    Dell XPS 12

    I recently received mine two days ago. Haven't really used it much, so can't really say much about the battery life. The screen is gorgeous, I think its pretty light and would work fine in a college setting. Haven't tried playing any games on it so can't say much about the Intel graphics.
