Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Is there a list, by KB number, of all the fucked up patched from 2014? I actually turned patching off and I've been... concerned about actually doing patches until I could manually verify that none of the screwy ones were on the list.
Is there a list of the 2014 Windows Updates that screwed shit up? I haven't done updates since September and I really don't want to do them until I can be sure those won't be updated.
I said I'd never buy another Belkin product back in 2009, when they were regularly going around and leaving false reviews everywhere. My thought was, if they have to lie to sell their product, it must be shit.
Some days I like being proven right.
berky -- The Netgear side would be what I call complex. It has a crap ton of settings for IPsec and what it calls SSL VPN. I did some checking, but the SSL VPN is not OpenVPN compatible. The ASUS side has PPTP, L2TP and OpenVPN, but has little in the way of options to set.
Cmustang -- That...
I live in Chattanooga, TN. Home of EPB Fiber Optics (Formerly the Electric Power Board). I am a very happy subscriber to their 1gbps FTTH network. I'm a huge fan of EPB, so I'll openly admit I'm biased.
I pay $69.99/month for 1gbps fiber. Every September 17th, EPB does something huge for...
Howdy,
I'm a first time VPN user. I own an ASUS AC-RT66R at home. I've managed to get my Nexus 5 to connect to it via VPN.
Now I want to do something a little more ambitious, but I've not been successful. At work, I have a Netgear SRXN3205. I have access to admin panels on both...
There are some outliers, however. Tennessee (my home state) and Chattanooga specifically (my home town) have managed to attract jobs, thanks to the fact we've become pretty tech friendly. Our main attraction, what seems to be drawing jobs, is the city-wide fiber optic network developed by our...
Looks like there may be some support for Linux.

Denali#1195 here, already in clan and community.
I'm grinding on Hard right now, trying to take advantage of the extra XP event. Feel free to join my game if you want. :)
That was an HTC EVO 3D or LTE. If that had been an HTC One, he'd have been a dead man. EVO's are built like friggin' tanks. I own one and keep it in my shirt pocket all the time.
You... do realize you're on [H]ardOCP, right? They kind of expect that sequels will have some sort of improvement in order to push modern hardware. If it doesn't, it's going to end up in the same bin as Rage.
Maybe you meant to be on Gamespot?
Looking at the docket, looks like the companies are using the simplest method of resolution first: dismissal due to lack of standing. Some of the companies have been dismissed already (OutletPC.com, Raidmax Tech, Inc.)
Also, it looks like Silicon Mountain Holdings, Inc.filed a counter claim...
Ok.
Kevin Smith is fat. He knows that. You know that. The whole world knows it. It's a fact in evidence.
According to Smith, he routinely buys an extra ticket because he doesn't like having people sit next to him. Also, in his own words, SW tickets are crazy cheap and he can afford...
That's possible. But if you're going to go for something like this in an Eyefinity set up, wouldn't you have to replace all your monitors to take advantage of the thin bezel?
Maybe I misread it, but I don't understand what the problem is with the press release. The note introing the PR says:
If the above is correct, that makes each screen $633/ea. At least, that's what I'm reading. Am I missing something?
All ethics and "which card is better" issues aside, every time you buy a rebranded card, you give the manufacturer absolutely NO reason to innovate and improve. If they feel they can foist off their back stock on their customers, why should they make substantial improvements on the technology...
Ok, I'm curious about something. I know some peoples heads will catch on fire when I ask this, but... yeah, here goes.
How does WoW look on this with the monitors in portrait mode? I realize some people are not fond of WoW or its graphics. However, I play WoW and when I finally upgrade...
