Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Yeah weird, if you discount the time it was worse, this is indeed the worst time ever.
Also, if you don't count the times it was colder, today is the coldest day on record.
Will be diving into this one this weekend hopefully. I don't stray from flight sims too often these days, but this one I won't pass up. Really enjoyed the first one and there's not been anything else quite like it IMO and seems this one stayed true to it.
That said, I got a laugh out of the...
Getting a bit off-topic here, but that's just a feature of having solenoid packs in the valve body. Outside of some niche applications, they're superior to the older style that had mechanical linkages with regulator & servo valves. Would be pretty dumb to NOT have the electric solenoids put the...
Yeah it is when you get into the 3rd-party aircraft. There's a reason they can cost $70 just for an add-on aircraft - the amount of systems simulated is part of that price. That said, that pretty much requires a separate 3rd-party program to properly map those things. Programs like Spad.next or...
Just remember the size and position of windows ffs. I'm still on 10 but I'm gonna guess that still isn't a thing because it's something users have actually wanted forever.
I'd wager money that you'll still be able to optionally download stuff like airplanes and airports at the very least. Up until a few days ago you had simmers complaining for 4 years about the install size of MSFS2020. They offer an option to lower the install size and the pendulum abruptly swung...
Some of you guys are wanting an install size in the petabytes. When MSFS2020 launched they said the streamed world data totaled 2PB. Here's my MSFS 2020 install folders.
Left is just MSFS, right is everything including mods.
All that and if I fly offline it looks like MSFS X outside a few...
Where do you draw the line? Is Buick next on the list because only current owners of Buicks get the $2500 discount on a new vehicle purchase?
Oh right, the lobbyists that give the government the best "incentives" will determine who/what/where that line is drawn, because that's in and of itself...
Right, that's how it was done in the past for flight sims via third-partys. It ate up a ridiculous amount of disk space for a relatively small area.
My point was demanding laws as some suggested would mean stuff like that would go back to third-party. I doubt anyone is gonna offer a several...
Wait til you guys learn about how Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 (and the upcoming 2024) works and demand an offline version of the entire planets hires satellite imagery.
I think the FOV is what really messes it up for me because I always liked to play a sorcerer. It seemed really pointless when you can't see much further than melee range.
I checked this out over the weekend via the free weekend on Steam. Put maybe 2 hours into it, a good chunk of that watching the cinematics, before I uninstalled. That FOV is obnoxious and it really didn't feel like an actual Diablo game but more like a knock off IMO.
I mean he ignored my post correcting him on the thrusters after going on a rant about it. It's clear at this point he just wants to complain about the game that now says he stopped playing. The way of the internet.
No it's not, it's thrusters.
I use a controller when piloting and holding down the right bumper lets you do exactly what you're talking about and translate up/down/left/right. Holding it down also allows you to turn the ship without changing your trajectory so you can essentially go full...
I played thru this on my old i5-6600k & 1070 @ 1440p when it came out. Now I'm on a 7800x3d & 4070, so I'm looking forward to starting over as well, just in time for winter.
Well it's no surprise they're not going to OK or encourage a mod that adds features for the competitor of their game partner, not that this is even a traditional mod in the first place. Don't forget Skyrim had paid mods that was set-up by Bethesda with the creation club though, but people...
I like the reasoning here that somehow paid mods would price free mods out of existence. It's greed if someone decides to charge for their work, and if they do the altruistic gamer will.. pirate/steal that work, because that apparently isn't greed. 🤨
Wait til you find out about flight sim mods.
You'll have to edit the StarfieldUpscaler.ini the mod puts in the /mods directory. It even includes a link to show you the list of what number you have to use in the .ini for a given key.
I got shafted on the free game when I bought my 7800x3d. They had the Jedi Survivor at the time I bought, then by the time they actually sent me the code it was expired when I went to redeem it. I wasn't really all that interested in it anyway so oh well. But then right after that they added...
I'm in Act 3 now and have been around around the city and I'm still pretty much maxing out my monitor at 144fps, although it does dip into the 130 here and there if I sit and watch the frame rate. Had one earth quake tremor and didn't have the fps monitor up at the time but it appeared smooth...
I built a new system a month or two ago and came from a 1070 non-TI and went with a FE 4070 non-TI and it's been great on my 1440p 144hz monitor. I would have looked more at a AMD card, but the bulk of my gaming these days is MSFS2020 (yeah, Im one of those ppl) and Nvidia is the way to go for...
My main computer use is CAD and gaming - two things Linux really falls flat on. Not really thrilled about all the "features" they keep adding to Windows, I just need an OS to run the programs I want to actually use, so the OS situation as a whole is a solid "meh" from me.
