Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I can't see the XPS 410 [H] review as an endorsement for Dell.
You should be able to get a refund from any PC builder. They usually have restocking fees. Did you manage to get a deal to avoid Dell's...
Oh it gets better ;)
From a [H] BF2 weekend thread:

Bruce's score:

A good CRT is the Dell or HP P1130 or P1110. It uses the same sony trinitron tube as the G520 and a bunch of other rebadges. It is 21", search your local craigslist. Shouldn't be more than $100. Also, the FW900 is pretty much the best out there, definetly search for that one if you have the cash.
Welcome back!
All the parts look compatible. I do question some of the choices though--you could get much better bang for your buck, assuming this is a gaming machine.
512MB of RAM has no place on this graphics card. There isn't enough GPU power in the X1600. If you want a much...
I run dual monitors and I play pretty much every game on the CRT. When I first got this setup I did have a couple problems with getting stuff on the right screen, but I realized that it was the game settings the would override the system settings. Other than that it's been a breeze, and it's...
The AK101 is a good one. It isn't crippled with a low ammo count like the G3. 150 bullets versus 100. I usually prefer it to the G3 when available, but I don't play assault often.
For engineer the unlocks are nothing I'd play with. The jackhammer chews up ammo too quickly, and I'm not...
No Diamondtron monitors listed because the poster is buying from a local reseller.
I have a Dell P1130 that I picked up for $100 off craigslist. It's an awesome monitor, and at $89 it's a great deal. I don't know about the other monitors listed though, the P275 looks like a great deal at...
Just throwing this out there. Adaptec GamebridgeTV:

A review for those too lazy to google:

It doesn't take component in FWIW.
How about modifying the kits so that no one has any weapons? The Wake Island Air Show mod has something similar, where every player is a pilot--no weapons. Maybe even add C4 to the standard kit. Having the potential for roadkills on this map would make it more interesting.
Keep up the good...
QFT. Stick with SLI.
I'd say stick with the one picked out. It is the max performance available today. The Disk Storage Systems forum has a sticky at the top for recommended drives. If you have some need other than max performance or want to lower the cost, look there--you shouldn't need raid...
Another option:
Asus A8N-SLI

Though I don't know the reasons for excluding SLI boards--other than the SLI this will do the job if the colors on the lanparty aren't appealing. Anyways, the lanparty is the better board, so I'd...
Get a single core opteron. This one looks good:
http://www.tankguys.biz/opteron-cache-p-1420.html
Search this forum for Opteron and Opterown if you need proof. It's the same as an A64 3200 with 1MB L2--also opterons tend to OC better than A64s.
Ok it's done. Cable ties were used to hold the fan in place, as the screws weren't working. I can pick up the PSU from the fan, so the ties are definetly solid. There is a reduction in noise, and what appears to be a drastic reduction in case temp (forgot to monitor it before).
This PSU is...
Thanks for help, Oklahoma Wolf.
I'll try moving the fan as well.
Dug through Oklahoma's previous posts to find this pic:

I just hope this doesn't require screws I don't have.
I have the same PSU, and I remember it being advertised as 18/28A on the +12V rail. At the time I thought that meant it could chug along outputting 18 to 28 A on the +12 depending upon the other rails. Around here the past year all I've seen about the PSU is that 18A is the max and this...
The commercialization and deregulation of the power grid and the effect said commercialization and deregulation has on the economy. What happened to the economy during the East Coast blackout in August of 2003? Also, you could look into Enron.

Unless you are lucky the DualSata2 has a max HTT of 270. So the volt mod at most would give you 2.7 GHz. In my mind that's hardly worth the effort of a volt mod. Definetly be sure of your max HTT before doing the mod. If it's about 285 or higher, I'd say go for it as 250 MHz is a decent...
At least it looks like we're not going to be charged. I don't know about the $1 thing that someone was talking about earlier, but when I bring up the HP order page it also shows zero dollars as my order total. Oh well. Even if this deal was like $40 dollars more it still would've been sick.
It shouldn't really matter (i.e. you should be good with that driver, as long as you have the correct settings for dual core, as the drivers are multithreaded.) I guess a decent old driver I remember was 66.93, but it might not like some newer games--81.98 or whatever is latest is really optimal...
I'm using an XP-90, which of course works great, but it's not a cost effective solution, requires a backplate to mount, as well as a fan.
I've heard good things about the A64 Freezer (not sure about Pro/nonPro) but the pro version does look a little better. Should an easy install, not...
The max stable most get is 274 HTT. The board isn't good for past that reliably.
For testing the inital overclock, OCWBeta1 or 2. They're the ones that people have used to get the high HTTs, and are the only ones that supposedly don't have a cap at 274 HTT. However even with these BIOSes at...
Ok, I just played a bit. My favorite was the FAMAS medic gun. Kinda like the G36C, very hit rate of fire, good accuracy. If I had this I'd play medic a whole lot more. The assualt gun is pretty good, in that it has high damage and a grenade launcher it's kind of a mix of the regular assualt gun...
Awesome! Just finished the download (on dialup right now.) Going to check it out.
Also, this won't mess up online play at all, it only changes singleplayer.
From the link:
Do this, and post pics :D
EDIT: So you have 3 VGA outputs per PC? If so, couldn't you just get 3 KVMs with external switches and use those to switch between monitors?
Yeah sure. I don't think there have been many issues with that kind of setup. People have nvidia and ati cards working together, so I imagine it'll be much easier in your case.
