    I've noticed that problem before while using hdmi, never did figure out exactly what was going on. :confused: Switching to dvi, display port, or vga fixed the problem. ;)

    Manually setting high speed sticks can be a pain in the a$s. I'm guessing Intel profiles are not available for use with competitors products??? Or maybe they ask insane licensing fees? Either way it would be nice if all boards had Intel & AMD profiles.

    At that resolution, I'd guess a 270x would be very smooth at medium settings in most new games. I play at 1920x1080 with ultra high settings in BF4. I don't play MMOs so take that with a grain of salt.

    Odds of finding a 7870xt for a fair price are low.... If you want better performance your probably gonna need to change cards. I think your card can crossfire with all tahiti cards, but it won't matter since they will all be over-priced. :( 290 or jump ship for the green team
