Compu USA trade in laptop program

This is indeed an epic necropost. I still have my computer I bought from CompUSA circa 2000 hanging around. Single core P4, got it up to 1gb of ram, and cleaned it out from all the dust a few years ago.

Since this was bumped. Has anyone accepted the free lines, then cancelled existing ones you're paying for or is there, "Additional terms" that prevent this?

WTB: HP Zbook 15 G6 hard drive cage

Ebay is going to be your best bet. I wouldn't pay $56 for one though. At that cost you could buy a 1TB NVME drive. I'd sort through generic Chinese knock offs and find one that looks similar in the $10 range. Worst case scenario is you snip a few of the extra tabs off...

    Corsaid K70 RGB Pro - $49.99 (down from $159.99)

I too am typing from an original K70 with red switches having acquired it in 2016. This was rather tempting to get one purely based on the removable USB cable. The way my desk is wired it's a pain to remove the keyboard with the 8+ foot cable on the original to clean it out. That quality of life...

    WTB x99 & X299 Motherboards

Won't fit, unless they're smaller than ATX. You can only fit 1x ATX motherboard box in a medium flat rate. The large comes in two sizes. One is square-ish and the other is narrow in height, super long, and designed for board games. Motherboard boxes come in different sizes even amongst ATX...

    WTB x99 & X299 Motherboards

It's the same cost via USPS as any other state. That means the theoretical maximum is $15.80 using a medium flat rate box and paying with an online service provider. If you're using another carrier to ship a relatively small and light package like this you're getting ripped off.

WTB: ITX/MATX Board that supports either 6th, 9th, or 10th gen Intel CPU's

I use that same motherboard in my small NAS. It can boot off an Optane 16 or 32 GB drive and run six drives from the onboard SATA. There's lots of cheap and pretty common options out there that will work. Do barely any research and you can find them as you just did clicking a link.

They were designed for media usage. At a previous employer we deployed a couple thousand of these as digital signage PC's. They ultimately lasted for a very long time before being replaced due to storage limitations. The EMMC wasn't large enough to store the media and the SD cards started...

    The [H]ardForum Perpetual Freebies Thread

So, funny story about that.... They were actually discontinued sometime after 2015. How do I know that? In the summer of 2015 I was forced to move and already had a few of the regional C boxes on hand. I needed more of them so I ordered two cases of 20 boxes and used them to pack most of my...

What type of photo workflow are you doing that puts that much wear on an SSD. I edit and export photos from a 50.6MP Canon 5DSR and another lower resolution DSLR daily in Lightroom and the 980 Pro 2TB still shows 100% health in Crystal Disk Info.

    Corsair MM300 Extended Mousepad - $14.99

I have two of the world map ones that are made in China. I'm also a little confused how you're asking more for this here than you're selling this for on ebay? There's fees there and this is a free selling platform where paypal only charges 2.9% versus the 6-15% ebay does. It seems like the prices would be the other way around, was that a typo? Were...
