It's not that good compared to other monitors they tested. But I'm not sure how reliable those results are, for example they measured about the same overshoot on the Asus PG35VQ which in the Tftcentral review it turns out has rather little overshoot. It also matters how many and which...
Here are some more test results, they did measure some overshoot indeed (even on OD Standard setting, 23.8% overshoot)

Only reviewers I know of that do backlight spectrum graphs are hdtv.pl and ixbt.com but they rarely review monitors.
Yes, I'm fairly certain that all manufacturers except Samsung use WLED + enhanced phosphors backlight.
It's usually PFS, LG Nano-IPS use KSF phosphors. (edit: both are the same and mainly contain potassium fluorosilicate)
Hardly any reviewers post spectral graphs though.

You can run the BenQ at 75Hz no problem. Ghosting is slightly increased compared to 60Hz though. It's all in the PCM review.
He wrote the ghosting isn't a big problem. At 60Hz, it's a bit worse than my xb2483hsu-b1. At overclocked refresh rates they're both more similar

It's a very basic display (1080p, 75Hz, HDR is usable but no true HDR) but other than that the EW277HDR seems to be totally fine.
It was reviewed by a lot of pages, and they were all pretty much unanimously positive - the biggest flaw seem to be the limited ergonomics. (the pcmonitors review...
There will be lists until the year is finished ;) It's not that much of a hassle since I have all pages bookmarked and checking them is fast.

The X800E doesn't even stand a chance spec wise - other than having better viewing angles due to the IPS panel used
Other than higher input lag it has no local dimming, less than half peak brightness (~420cd/m²), smaller color gamut (DCI-P3 85% xy vs. 97% xy) and less than a quarter of the...
First review is out

Sounds pretty good, strong HDR performance - at Normal setting even better looking than the 384 dimming zone IPS panel according to review. Response times also very good for VA and a low input lag.
Only major issue seems to...
The M240HW01 panel used in almost all 24'' 1080p gaming TN is native 120Hz.
The newer 24.5 and 27 variants, they come in native 240Hz and also native 144Hz versions.
The issue with image washing out at higher refresh rates is well documented but I don't know why that is so. It seems to only...

Congrats on getting a TN with good black uniformity. They do exist ;)
Gamma on the GW2470H is pretty high on default - around 2.4-2.5 I believe. Gives a deeper look but probably crushes some of the darker shades. It should have an option to lower gamma in the OSD though.

No, I have the 24'' B1 version. I tested bigger screens before and I don't like sub 90ppi. You had a 1080p IPS just a short while ago, no? They are all pretty much the same! The only significant difference in image quality is due to coating on the GLOSSY models.
For video the best 27'' should...
No user here tested the B3 overdrive yet. But it has a new OSD with 3 Overdrive settings (Off,+1,+2). There is relatively little overshoot on the max +2 setting though, so it might be too weak.
It can get brighter than the B2 (~296cd/m²), out of box calibration is similar to the B2 (so rather...

I also still have a very old TN stashed somewhere, 5:4 1280x1024. Colors and black uniformity are ok-ish, viewing angles surprisingly good (probably also because it is so small). But I haven't used it for a long time.
Especially TN and some IPS have suffered a bit from the CCFL to LED backlight...
With G-sync there is also the Dell S2417DG, it has a good price despite being a G-sync display. But the 1440p is going to be a bit too much for the 1060. (well, G-sync is very helpful with lower framerates at least)

Overdrive appears balanced and panel speed is of course great, as expected. The color gamut...

There's a review for the E271i on hardware.info. It has strong viewing angles (even for IPS), which is the main advantage.
Also a low input lag and the response times are what you would expect from a regular 60Hz IPS.

If your monitor supports DDC/CI then you can use a program like softMCCS, it may show you the exact usage time.
Mine's at 17653 hours now. The min. life expectancy for LEDs nowadays is usually either 30k or 50k hours.
We already know especially VA panels can be very sluggish when cold. They also do get faster when heated more than is normal. Panels should be able to operate at room temperatures up to ~50-55°C. Putting the LED backlights at max also increases the heat inside the display.
I ran some tests on my...
Some films also have extra motion blur, it causes the same effect. If you look at paused frames you can tell whether it is caused by panel response or encoded in the video.
Only thing that helps in this case is to lift shadow brightness and reduce sharpness of the image. Also heating up the...
hardware.info and a user on overclock measured contrast with X-Rite which is very accurate - both resulting in 2900:1-3000:1 contrast ratio
so that's the ballpark I would say (pretty much on spec)
Users reported some dark overshoot at the Fastest setting so Fast seems preferrable.
It must've escaped the measurement of hardware.info since they measured very low overshoot amounts
