Go for it. I did Raid0 because I wanted a larger volume. I've had 3 Crucial 128GB SSDs (1 C300 & 2 M4's) since March with no issues. http://i.imgur.com/UU5A7.png

I would like them to around the $200 so I can buy two. Not sure if they'll drop that far down though. I'm currently running 3 128GBs on raid 0 but sometimes I start to run out of room.

Anybody know of any upcoming deals for 512GB SSDs? Black Friday or what not.. The 256GBs are coming down but would love just to get two 512's for a nice 1TB volume.

Jumping into this discussion.. is it worth the upgrade for me? My current system: ASUS M5A99X EVO AM3+ AMD 990X Phenon II X6 @3.8 ghz AMD 6870 3 x crucial 128GB SSDs in raid 0. The 8350 'should' work on my motherboard but not sure if its worth the upgrade. Suggestions?

I initially just had one 128GB Crucial C300. A few months later, the 128GB Crucial M4's went down to $199 and I bought two of them. I haven't had a single issue. My read speeds top out a bit over 1 GB/s and writes just over 400MB/s. http://i.imgur.com/UU5A7.png

With so many deals coming out recently, I'm just going to wait for a good deal on a 512GB SSD. It seems that every other day a better deal comes out. I currently have 3 128GB SSDs in raid 0 so I'll be ok for a while longer. Although a 720GB stripe set seems tempting....

In my situation, I already had a 128GB SSD (Crucial C300) but wanted a single, larger volume. Buying two 256GB SSDs was out of the question. I though about buy a single 256GB M4 but then I would have the 128GB left over so I went with two 128GB M4s. I created a 384GB Raid0 and I haven't had...

I will have 3 128GBs (my current C300 and the two M4's coming in two days). Hmm...I saw this benchmark on the Crucial forums (2 128GB C300's and 1 128GB M4). The access times look ok...

So, whats the best way to set these up? I already have a Crucial C300 128GB and I was thinking of imaging it and copying the image to my secondary drive (640GB HDD) then adding the two M4's and creating a 384GB Raid 0. Afterwards, image it back on the new array. Is this a good idea?

Same boat here.. My Phenom X6 is running at 3.8 Ghz, 16GB DDR, SSD, 6870. I might get a 2nd 6870 for xfire or more SSDs for solid state raid0 but no dire needs. Guess I'll see what the 2nd round of BD will brings. Phenom II's were a huge improvement on the original Phenoms.

Is there any current info on how to run PhysX with an AMD cpu? All the threads that I've found are kinda old.

I only though of it because of one of the other posts here...the HD 6970 + Dedicated GT 430 review. With physics enabled, he got a better frame rate with the GT430 and the 8800GT is a more powerful card.

My son's 8800GT started to get weird lines and artifacts so it appears its on its way out. I've already ordered him a replacement but I was wondering if I can use that card for dedicated PhsyX? I'm currently running a Phenom II X6 @ 3.8Ghz, 16GB DDR3 and a AMD 6870. Using this a ASUS M5A99X...

Well, after reading the Crucial forums...it turns out you can raid a C300 and an M4. (http://forums.crucial.com/t5/Solid-State-Drives-SSD/C300-M4-Raid-0-Bad-Idea/td-p/62173/page/2) You can buy a new 128GB M4 for $199 so it will have to be less. Shoot me a PM with a number.
