Now that the new Nvidia driver is out, do we expect any improvements that we've not already seen in DLS 4? I'm personally not expecting much with my 2060 but was curious.
Pretty damn late to the party on Robocop, but glad I finally found out about it.
So, after purchasing Stalker 2 and realizing quite quickly that it wasn't going to run on my aging rig, plus it needs a few more patches, I turned my attention to the year-old Robocop: Rogue City.
Didn't hear...
Stalker on the back burner since I'm in the group where the game won't start due to shader issue. I'm patient and expect to jump back in in about a couple months. (maybe new PC, which is needed) I would like to see more patch activity over a week into Jan. Hopefully something drops in the...
Yup, this worked! Thx, and agreed a roll of the dice. Game running a little better, but overall, still planning/budgeting for new PC. This one's had its day in the sun.
Like some others have said, after downloading the latest patch (hotfix), the game crashes as it's going through the shader exercise. Never had that problem before. Game for me is tanked until this gets fixed in another hot fix/patch. :hungover:
Good Lord! This will be my inspiration for a new set up. Won't match it, but will def try ......someday......
I'll start by getting the same foot rest.
Finished the prologue. To me still feels very much like a STALKER game, bugs and all for those who remember the original when it first came out. That first mutant....holy hell that was hard. (playing on Stalker)
At this point though, i'm going to put the game away for a couple months for it...
Yes, indeed lowered my expectations due to some of my outdated rig specs. Pleasantly surprised for the most part. Right off the bat, ran into a slide show, but once I got outside during the first hour, ran pretty well. Still tweaking settings (translation.... lowering) Going to be extremely...
While I appreciate the free NG+ and few other DLC items, not sure it's enough to keep me going. Playing through another time with NG+, but honestly it ain't holding my attention as much as I thought it would.
Have not tried Neighborhood watch yet, but haven't yet heard great things.
I'm not at end of life but probably older than 70% of the folks on this site. I get it, and that does make sense. But at my stage of life, I do have to prioritize where funds go...ya know with kids in college etc. :)
I'm happy they are finally dropping this but waiting for the price. Really shouldn't be more than 20 or 25 max. But this is Rockstar..sooo yea...probably a lot more.
Interesting. Already own RDR2 on PC, but wondering if we're going to be seeing additional enhancements on the later game.
All in on RDR1 on PC, but I'd like them to do just a little polishing. Doubt it outside what is mentioned above.
I guess i'll give my 1 or 2 cents, not that it's worth it. I'm getting older, in my 50's and still going strong on othe PC video game front. Most my friends my age have decreased or stopped playing all together, but I still love it. STALKER is one of those special few games that I do...
Quick update. The full version of the game is a bit harder than the demo. Playing on normal, having a bit of a tougher time, which isn't a bad thing. Few graphical enhancements i guess with DLSS and a couple other items.
Overall, yes 20 bucks is worth it in my opinion
Well, i must have been asleep at the wheel because i had no friggin clue about this game. I just replayed FEAR last week and was on the steam boards for Q/A, and this game came up. Heard about a demo, played it last night. All in. Yeah graphics aren't the best and yes reminds me of FEAR...
Funny thing. I got this for free a couple years ago via epic. Played the first 20 min or so, and lost interest. Few weeks ago, I remembered I had this, redownloaded. It kept my saved items, and I picked up where I left off.
Maybe it's because there have been no great games in awhile...
FEAR doesn't NEED a remaster, but i'll bite. Yup, still plays good and looks ok, however a remake I'd back up. Kinda in the same camp with Max Payne 1/2.....you can still play them, but I'd be ok with a remaster. Loved the new Dead Space remake. Playing the Last of Us remake now, after...
Man I don't know....I've been around for a bit, played a s*** ton of games, RDR2, is my overall favorite. When I heard RDR2 was coming out, no way did I think it would have surpassed RD1 in entertainment. I was wrong. Of course this is only my opinion, but get that game a movin in your Steam...
Update, finished DI2. Enjoyed this more than I thought I was going to. For $25 bucks price range I'd definately recommend. Finished in about 45 hours but appears I have a ton of side missions left and don't mind continuing, or maybe changing to another character. I haven't seen too many...
Yup now in by about 10 hours, the actual story is not as bad as I once thought. I'm playing as Ryan, not too crazy about his character, but story has gotten better!
Just getting around to playing DI2 for the first time. Hearing it's maybe not as long as the original, but the zombie models and details with the gore are pretty damn good. Same janky story, but I don't care, it's good enough and with the sale on this, for now i'm satisfied with purchase.
Well this is a friggin bummer. Yes the studdering is there, and yes it was annoying, but i still enjoyed the hell out of Dead Space remake. Even on my struggling rig, it actually played ok. I was really looking forward to part 2 remake.
There just isn't that many good PC games coming...
More of a learning curve on actually how to play the games with the weapons with combination of the special ability (ie polymer jet). After that nightmare which was the first boss (Incredibles boss) I figured out some things. Like maybe swig a vodka before combat. Actually still hard, but playable.
Maybe the biggest misscast i've ever seen for a movie, and that's saying something. It's like the producers went out of their way to cast the opposite of each character. Holy crap. Tina Tina? Didn't even attempt at all to capture the essence there.....at all. This is mind bogglin...
Quick update on the game (still no RT :))
I've played some hard games in my time, but is it just me here? This game has gotten extremely hard to the point of it's really not that fun anymore. On YT looking for tips on this boss that looks straight out of the Incredibles. I understand how to...
Finally bought the game a year after playing the demo. Thought the price point of 30 bucks was fair enough. Unique enough game play, runs very well on my ol' rig. But man, i fogot how bad the voice acting is on your character. I don't get it, because the surrounding cast is pretty good...
