This is my second big apple buy, and second Mac mini. Should I wait is Apple going to release new Mac mini 2012 versions?

how difficult is it to change the harddrive to a ssd? how big is the harddrive 2.5" or 3"? and i heard that you can upgrade the mac mini memory modules by using different brand memory modules not the expensive apple ones anyone know something about this?

i have a 2600 at 4.2ghz. i am maybe upgrading to 2011 by the half of 2012 maybe, and, there is a chance i might not upgrade at all in 2012 (keeping my 1155 until 2013.) there is just no reason to upgrade now, current socket 2011 processors are just to similar in performance to my 2600.

motheboards for the new 2011 socket are more interesting than the new processors itselfs imho.

what are you talking about? memory is cheap... you can buy 16gb of ram for $200-$300!

hello. i also have a 6970. 6970 is not a card for 2560x1600 imo, i am now saving some money to get a 27" 2560x1440 and i know that my card wont be able to support it. what i was thinking is getting a 2nd 6970 for crossfire.

dp can handle more data i think. i use dp on my u2410, i find that colors are more acurate.

op, using dp gets you better picture quality, specially if u using a higher end resolution like that i think. using dvi you are going to push dvi technology to its limits imo.

you should inform yourself about mini display cables. the monitor probably wont come with a mini dp, only a full size dp i think.
