I've been enjoying mine for the last week and a half. The size is great in my hands, not too heavy. The tiny bezels are awesome as well, the ones on the HTC10 I switched from always seemed just a little too big.
My pre-order from TMo is arriving today. I'm looking forward to it, not becuase I'm unhappy with my HTC 10 (far from it, been a great phone that should be able to survive my daughter's butter fingers since it's built like a friggin tank), but because i'm looking forwards to that almost...
T-mobile bloat? We aren't talking Verizon or AT&T on a Samsung device. The only app that tmobile loaded that I can see doing anything atm is the Lookout Anti-virus, and it seems to be mostly harmless. I actually use the t-mobile VM app and like it once the 10 day trial is up and I can tell it to...
Any of the actual, non-stock ROMs should remove them, LeeDroid, I.C.E., ummm... that other one... Viper!, that's it. I think they are all European based, so when they say T-mo, compatable, they may be talking about Deutche Telecom, I'm not sure.
Bad Boyz is supposed to be US based, but I haven't...
Just rooted mine this weekend so I could get Adaway back on it. I keep forgetting how much it changes the way I feel about a phone.
Went for sideload root for, well, just because. Supposedly it doesn't mess up the radios
I have both thumbs and both index fingers set, they are all working horizontal or vertical 9 out 10 times, if not better. This is my 1st time with a reader on a phone and am very pleased with it. The one trick I have found is to wait about a half second to make sure it registered
When I went in to get my Phone, there was a gentleman ahead of me that was going through the same thing. I declined to do Jump on this phone as I didn't realise when I put it on my G3 when I bought it tht it requires turnin of the old phone. I usually hand my phones down to the kids as I take...
I bought a pair of these Micro to USB-C adaptors from Amazon, they just came in... Amazon.com: [2 in 1 Pack] Anker USB-C to Micro USB Adapter, Converts USB Type-C input to Micro USB, Uses 56K Resistor, Works with MacBook, ChromeBook Pixel, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nokia N1, OnePlus 2 and More: Cell...
Same, and it seems much brighter than my G3 was, no problems with it out in the sun. The people complaining about it in sunlight must be used to phone displays running at Batsignal levels.
I just picked up my HTC 10 on Tmobile. Still getting everything set up and reinstalled (most has been happening in the background from Google profile, nice feature). I'm not quite there with the dimensions and button placement (coming from an LG G3, about as different as you can get), but it...
I've seen several places online quote $679 for the phone from Tmobile. Also, if you get it between Mat 18th and 24th, you can get a free Ice View case and HTC quick Charge 3.0, so you have a spaer to go with the one in the box. I have not seen anywhere that mentions what colors T-mo will be...
I'm going to be paying off the remainder on my G3 with T-Mobile this week and upgrading to the HTC 10 next week after T-Mobile starts carrying them, probably get it on Friday. My daughter will be getting upgraded from the Nexus 4 she is using now to my G3.
I have this case and from what I've seen, either card should fit fine. With the Hybrid, you can mount the radiator on the front, back or top, depending on reach of the hoses. The "floor" of the case that sits above the PSU is drilled for pretty much it's full length until it reaches the drive...
AMD PR people that I have met have been nice, and well informed within the bounds they are allowed to talk about. When I worked for CompUsa, AMD was supposed to sned a team out to demonstrate Eyefinity shortly after it came out, but tohe only one that showed up was the Rep. None of the techs...
The Phantexs Enthoo Evolv ITX is similarly sized as well, a little bigger, but not by alot.
If this had been out 3 months ago, it would have made my short list
I've been scouring the CES coverage all week looking for this amazing MOD! Now if we picky American could just get an interview in English :D
Absolutely amazing work on this!
Finally got a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX to put my new, smaller parts in and I'm pretty happy with the case. I still have a few things to iron out (cough, real PS, cough) but I'm glad I went this route...
Parts laid out
]
Not too big, not too small
Filling in nicely
Not the best, but not...
I buy based on whats best for my usage, based on real world testing, That said, if there was a new cycle of cards coming out in 2-3 months or less that is going to be using something new and I was just looking for an upgrade rather something I needed at the moment, I would probably hold off to...
I don't think there are many aircoolers that are large enough that they would be sitting where 1st PCI-E slot would be, since many motherboards are still configured to have large graphics cards there.
I haven't even had to consider flashing the bios on my z170i Pro gamer yet, but from what I've seen on this forum, some people are having issues with the ATX version of this board. I have had good luck so far with a single stick on HyperX Savage ( was a misguided attempt to spread the upgrade...
I know why it was done, was just commenting that the fiddly nature of the socket is the only thing that I dislike about the current setup. The improvements it bring more than make up for that tiny little issue I have ;)
I have a single stick of HyperX Savage (8GB) rated at 2666 CL13, was planning to get it's twin this weekend and noone has them as singles. Even Kingston is saying it will be the 16th at the earliest for allocation, let alone other less expensive, sites getting them. But yes, was running it in...
That is the only thing I have disliked about the Intel boards since they started the Core i-series... the fiddly CPU sockets. Trying to fix bend pins in the cpu's (when the pins were a bigger to begin with) was bad enough. I have managed to straighten a few pins here and there to get boards...
I was originally planning on using the Corsair as well, but I would have trouble finding somewhere to put it. It still a possiblilty, but I'm currently leaning towards the Phanteks Enthoo iTX, mainly due to the width.
Look forward to your usual level of photography when you get around to posting...
I went with the Asus z170i Pro Gaming as my 1st m-ITX build. I have been buying top of the line motherboards going back to the AMD-k6, and finally realised that I was spending ALOT of money on features I never used, and now that I'm older, even less likely to. The Rampage 3 Extreme was probably...
I was pretty much ok with the Asrock if the Asus Pro Gamer wasn't available, but I had a few conciderations that the Asus board would address with some things I would like to do with this build, one of them being Asus' Wifi Go.
I haven't seen anything online yet that indicates any performance...
... and of course the Asus z170i Pro Gamer just popped up on Newegg. How did I know that would happen?
I managed to get the original order cancelled and placed a new order with the Asus board instead.
Just a little more patience...
I just ordered the ASRock Z170 Gaming-ITX/ac. I had been holding off until today as I had seen several rumors taht the Asus z179i Gaming Pro would be hopefully available sometime this week, but I've decided that I'm not going to wait any longer. Feature-wise, they seem close, and to be honest...
Has anyone seen any information as to when/if this board will be released for the US? The M8i was availalbe on Newegg the day Asus unveiled it, but after seeing images of the 170i for several weeks, pus it being on the Asus site, still no sign of it for sale here.
In not sure where you are located geographically, but I believe that board is already out in the U.S. and had been for sale at Newegg for a few weeks.

I know the name in the listing doesn't have the Fatal1ty branding, but it shows...
I voted other, I have case that I'll use on my G3 if I think I'll need one, but usually don't have one on. I do have a Dbrand skin and tempered glass screen protector on it anyways.
