I think you need to take a stand as an individual and reject Windows 10. It frankly frightens me that people are willing to accept such intrusiveness into their digital lives. You shouldn't pay for something with slices of your identity to be bundled, traded, sold or abused. The long-term...
I have this monitor and I've suffered through the occasional flicker (not a big deal), but my screen is suddenly blacking out for a second or two at random intervals (this is a big deal). Has anyone had this happen to their BL3201PT? It's happening every couple of minutes, it appears.
Just got the BL3201PT and I'm in love. I took forever to make my decision (34" ultrawide, 144hz, curved Samsung TV, etc) but am convinced I made the correct one. No issues whatsoever with fonts being too small in Windows 7 @ 100% scaling. No scaling needed in browsers, either. 100% satisfied.
Does anyone know the European equivalent model numbers for these TV's? I found the UE40J6370S (http://www.samsung.com/nl/consumer/tv-audio-video/televisions/curved-tv/UE40J6370SUXXN) which looks like it might be the same as the JU6700? Can anyone confirm?
I'm very interested in the Samsung S34E790C but heard that the pixels aren't square. Is this noticeable and if so in what areas? The Philips 40 inch 4k has the same issue, and people aren't buying it because of this. Maybe the Samsung's curve compensates and it's a non-issue?
Can this monitor do 120hz @ 1080P? I haven't kept up with the newer 4K displays, but know the old Seiki model could do this. Does it require special circuitry?
Hate the stand. Absolutely hate it. On the other hand, its design is pleasing, the resolution is amazing, the quality looks good and there's no real alternative yet. I might just get it it.
Agreed - this is retarded. :( Every single instruction on ergonomics mentions the top of the display should be at eye level. I'd have to sit on a bar stool for that to happen with this turd.
Samsung kept me from buying the MD230 surround setup because it had no vertical adjustment and it...
I got this http://www.hd-plex.com/hdplex-h1.s-fanless-computer-case.html running an A10- 6700T. Motherboard is the Gigabyte F2A88XN.
No 3.5", or ODD, though. But it's silent and stylish -- good enough for me!
I bought one of these - http://www.hd-plex.com/hdplex-h1.s-fanless-computer-case.html - and a mini-ITX FM2+ motherboard. The A8-7600 with its configurable TDP (65W or 45W) should prove to be a fairly capable little chip. The idea of a tiny, 0dB computer with only a controller hooked up to it is...
This looks ideal! I was hoping for a non-TN 30~36" UHD screen at less than 1500 euros. If this ends up being what I expect it to be, it should sell extremely well - it's basically a single screen eyefinity setup.
Here's hoping it's not a bogus rumor and Dell won't price it outside the realm...
You should look into the HDPLEX H1. It's tiny, fanlessly cooled and well constructed. See http://www.hd-plex.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1377 Limited to 65W CPU though. A10-6700 is what I'll be using.
I like the HD-Plex H1 (soon to be released). It'll passively cooled up to 65W CPU's, like AMD's 6700K, and it's absolutely tiny. No noise, miniscule footprint and very high build quality. Some early pictures in this thread: http://www.hd-plex.com/forum/showthread.php?t=841&page=10
I will never understand the 'need' for anything other than low graphics settings. :P Maybe it's the games I play, or a leftover from playing games like Quake 3 made to look like lego, but I consider higher graphics settings to be visual pollution. I've tried Eyefinity (Samsung MDR230) and the...
Have you considered Abee - http://abee.co.jp - as an OEM? Their cases are probably of the highest quality currently available. And by available I mean only in Japan, unless you're willing to unreasonable shipping and taxes. However for a large enough order it might viable. I'll buy an NCASE M1...
Found this link: http://www.lugbuy.com/qiao-sibo-v7s-silver-p_18608375939.html. Looks you can buy them for a little over $100 with free shipping (at least to Europe, where I live). Might have to give this a go. Looks like a great case for a great price.
You seem like an unusual fellow. :) Just test the cable before opening up the wall? Also, if you're spending $5500 on a monitor, what's an extra $300 for the powered cable?
I envy you, by the way. The 32" Sharp 4k monitor looks amazing.
Gaming keyboards do not equal mechanical keyboards. Mechanicals are just better constructed, higher quality, more comfortable, no lost key presses, better tactile response, etc. I'd say next to having a quality display and and SSD it's the best purchase you can make because it affects everything...
I'll look into LARP. :P
I'll check out some of your suggestions. Is DOTA2 available yet? I filled out some survey on Steam which put me in a pool of players they'll be selecting invites from.
I think my definition, description, and list of examples I gave was sufficiently clear. The current crop of games is unengaging and boring. I don't want to sit back and wait for the game to play itself. I want to be challenged all the way through, preferably against other people with the same...
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try some of the 2D fighters. I've also found Nexuiz on steam. Anyone know if it's worth it? It's 10 bucks so I can't really go wrong, but still. ;)
Looking for games that are purely based on skill. Twitch shooters, RTS games, racing games and platformers with a high degree of difficulty. Think Trackmania, StarCraft, Super Meat Boy, Quake, etc. Preferably available on Steam. Any suggestions?

I've e-mailed them several times, and have yet to receive a response. I would love to own a Windy (any ITX model, really), but they haven't updated their site in well over a year. Has anyone succesfully ordered a case from their international website, and if so, did...
Community backlash to some lacking features (LAN, chat channels, cross realm play) was overwhelming. Battle.net 2.0 is several steps behind WarCraft III's battle.net, and in many ways even behind StarCraft's. Moreover, they've had tremendous issues with sever instability during the beta as well...
Does anyone know if they eventually plan on having their entire line-up of cases available for international purchase? I'm not interested in these behemoths, but would love an ITX or m-ATX case.
My motherboard (Intel DG965OT) died and I need a replacement. I've had no need for overclocking in the past, but I think I could benefit from higher clockspeeds now. I'm using an E6600 with 2x2GB Kingston PC2-6400 DIMMs. I'd like the cheapest, most reliable micro ATX motherboard I can get...
Mystery solved, got this PM on youtube today.
"Hi,
I knew it's model number is Samsung SyncMaster F2380. M2335 is our mistake, F2380 is right. But it's not retail product.
SyncMaster F2380 retail model(in korea) has D-SUB & 2 DVI Ports, not support DisplayPort. This F2380 is sample for...
Yes they do, but they're not the same. The mount is completely different (especially the 6 setup looks really sloppy). I also can't spot the corded remote control that's bundled with the MD230 setup or a single Samsung 1080P display with DisplayPort (except the yet to be released MD230 setup)...
Stumbled upon this on youtube. In the comments section the uploader posted "That is 23 inch Samsung Syncmaster M2335(?) Display Port Monitor and supports 1920x1080." but that model number brings up 0 google hits. It looks like a thin bezel 1080P display with DisplayPort. It's exactly...
