Created my account two days after HL2 launched. Thankfully my school did not block Steam on the network so I was able to install and play it. I doubt they were even aware of it at the time since it was such a new thing.
I only have a gaming PC and a M1 Air. I want my steam library in a handheld form so I can play anywhere in my house instead of my desk.
For reference I already setup Parsec to stream my gaming PC to my M1 Air and it works very well but this isn't what I want because the laptop always has to...
I got through on July 16 @ 1:40PM EST - 40 mins after it went live and still got Q1. I had it in my cart in the first minute but it immediately gave me issues for the next 40 mins.
Did anyone check out that api link that was going around? It apparently was reporting your queue position and also how many reservations of each model in different regions.I think the 512GB model was around 60K reservations for NA before the link stopped working.
Curious to hear more about this highstakes game mode. I like EFT it just requires too much of my time so something casual to fill the gap would be awesome.
edit: game mode is Hazard Zone I believe.
Started a new playthrough on ranger difficulty. Just wanted to see how it looked and ran. Running @ 3440x1440p high settings, dlss quality I am hitting damn near 120FPS all the time. Runs like a dream and from what I saw has to be one of the best looking games out today.
From someone on reddit.. I am downloading the game right now.
If you own Metro Exodus on steam you can already Start downloading the Enhanced Edition through steamDB.

I feel that. In RE2 I died a lot when I was supposed to go somewhere or do something that was not immediately obvious. Dying multiple times until I figured out what I was supposed to do. Did anyone else have this type of experience? To me its basically as annoying as QTE.
Same thing I did. If it ran the exact same or even a little worse I wouldn't even bother replaying. Somehow they made it a night and day difference in some cases but also performs better as well. Also get to experience the DLC's for the first time as well.
For real. Not only are we getting super accurate lighting but at the same time making it easier for developers to quickly light environments on the fly. Digital Foundry goes over this in their video which I recommend if you like to nerd out on that kind of stuff. It seems like a HUGE time saver...
So it looks like ~ 11AM EST tomorrow but no preload. Looking forward to replaying the game. My 2600x was really holding me back in this game (and many others) even with a 3080.
The Alien in Alien Isolation had me shitting my pants many many times. It's easily my favorite horror game of all time but I am a huge Alien fan so I may be a little biased.
I played the main quests with RT med/ high settings DLSS balanced and got around 60-70 on average. I then turned RT off and DLSS to quality and often I can hit my monitors 120Hz refresh rate cap (using GSYNC). On average it would hover around 90-110FPS.
This was @ 1440 ultrawide. I also went...
Thought I'd add my experience with Glorious. I purchased their TKL GMMK w/ Glorious Pandas and aura keycaps. So far I love this thing. Keyboard is built like a tank, very solid feeling. I like the fact that there are a ton of RGB customizations built into the board so you don't have to install...
5900x/3080 FE 100% stock power target and clocks.
1440p ultrawide high settings (med cascade shadows) med rt dlss balanced. I had lows in the mid 50's but it typically hovered between 60-75FPS. * I did cap fps in game to 75 at the time so it could have been even higher.
1440p ultrawide high...
I've been at end game for a few days so I've just been running around the city trying out new fighting techniques and weapons against enemies. It's been really helpful in crafting my V for the 2nd playthrough. I also at the time haven't figured how to level up athletics it may be bugged? Even...
Do you have an overclock/undervolt on your GPU by chance? My card has been perfectly stable since end of Sept in every game I've played until Cyberpunk. After resetting the card to default I had no more crashes because of GPU instability. This game really pushes hardware to the limit.
I've been having a blast so far but I do have a beefy rig. Funny enough, I started enjoying the game much more when I switched over to a controller. You don't notice the low FPS as much IMO plus driving and being able to walk at the same pace as NPC's is so much better.
Hope you get it today! My 5900x was delivered earlier today from them. Everything went smooth. Right out of the box a few cores hitting 4942Mhz after playing Warzone and Cold War. I saw a huge FPS boost there. I sit at 117Hz (capped to 117FPS) when before in WZ I was hovering around 80-90. Even...
I was able to snag a 5900x with the Aorus Elite x570 combo off Newegg on Friday which worked out perfectly for me. Should be here Tues/Weds. I am pairing it with Corsair Vengeance Pro 4x8GB 3200 CL16. Choosing a memory kit seemed extra difficult this time this so I just settled on what I knew...
