Fractal Node 202 Build About To Get Real

It's funny you mention hydro dipping because I also did that with my Node 202! I mixed red and black. However I messed it up, the paint didn't spread properly on the water so it was too thick when I came to dip and the outer edges had began to dry. I used the advised amount of borax so I'm not...

I just noticed on the installation video that CPU coolers positioned far from the PCI-E socket dont have complete access to ventilation holes. Could you add in another row of holes to improve airflow?

    The best <45mm CPU Cooler?

That's a good point. It might be a worthwhile to replace the fan with a more reputable one. Personally I'm just looking for the most effective thermal performance.

    The best <45mm CPU Cooler?

Thanks Brenex. I just want to add that the Xigmatek Praeton LD964 seems like a good 45mm cooler. This review scores it 7 degrees less than the l9i: Noctua NH-L9i CPU Cooler Review - Page 6 of 9 - Hardware Secrets Performance seems similar to the Cryorig C7, but it's slightly smaller which is...

Sorry if this has been asked before but would it be possible to fit an 120mm AIO cpu cooler where the SFX PSU fits, if It were replaced with a pico PSU such as HDPlex 250w? Just curious!

    The best <45mm CPU Cooler?

I know this often gets mentioned in other threads, but I think it would be fun to have a conclusive discussion on the subject of best SFF CPU coolers from experts. So to start things out I'm wondering if anyone has knowledge about the ID Cooling IS-VC45...

That would be cool but I really dont think it would be possible to cool a i7-5820K. I'm struggling to find much information about the Dynatron T318, do you know of any reviews?

I also want to add that the top screw is really ugly. Could the fastener be on the bottom / Or use an internal clip? Have you decided to go with the rounded corner design? For me I very much perfer the original square corner shape. I think the rounded top is moving away from the appeal of the...

    Lian Li PC-Q20 Mod Case

Yes I am planning to put a GPU inside, but I dont have much need for one at the moment. I cut the back hole bigger to fit a dual slot card. It is also my plan to fit a larger CPU heatsink later on. But for my current CPU the 120mm fan and that small heatsink are working well enough. Thanks :)

    Flex ATX PSU reccomendations

Thanks for the advice, I will probably buy the SSP300-SUG as it is significantly cheaper in the UK. Also that shouldn't be too much of a problem Hahutzy.

iFreilicht, I noticed you have used the SSP-300SUG before on the Brevis S, and had some issues with it. Do you recommend avoiding Seasonic?

    Flex ATX PSU reccomendations

Thank you both. I will try to get the FSP300-60FAG. I was also concerned the ST-ZF240 would not work well in a standard case. So thanks for clarifying that.

    Flex ATX PSU reccomendations

Thanks, but I cant find anywhere to buy that in UK. Would you recommend the FSP300-60LG? The case was originally intended to use and SFX PSU, but if I mount a Flex ATX there is much more room above the CPU. What do you think abut the Streacom ST-ZF240?

    Flex ATX PSU reccomendations

Hi, I'm looking at installing a Flex PSU into my SFF system but am unfamiliar with them, so it would be great to get some more experienced users feedback. Can anyone recommend a reliable and safe brand? The PSU doesn't need to be huge. 300W would likely be enough. It also does not need a GPU...

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

Water cooling would be nice, but I think if an air cooled unit can cool 130W it's enough. From what I've seen the Big Shuriken 2 is the best heatsink at this size. It's only 58mm with a 12mm fan so a 15mm could fit although I think if there isn't much room between the fan and the outside wall it...

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

That would be very cool. Although I read that the Scythe Big Shuriken 2 is capable of cooling a 130W CPU. I'm not sure if that is completely true. Personally I think the choice you have made for a short graphics card and larger CPU heat sink is the logical one. For me it's a better design both...

    CCD MI-6: Performance in a 6.7L MIcrotower

Awesome case, love that it supports larger CPU coolers. If I had any feedback it would be that the top of the case matched the metal panels on the sides. It's probably way to early to start asking this but when do you think I can own one?

Hello all, I just thought I would post some details of a PC I recently built: The original case was an E Mini 2010 (£40), some modifications are necessary to fit a dual slot graphics card. To improve the appearance and reduce the dimensions of the case the front panel was replaced with a...

Hi SaperPL, Great case, I just registered to offer my support. I know the release date is TBD but do you think it's realistic to expect anything within Q1 2016? Also I'm sure there is a legitimate reason but why not flip the GPU over so the intake vents are all on one side? Then the case can...
