Why would you use 1080p res? Just set scaling to 200% and it will be like 1080p but text is large, sharp and nice looking.

I think the Sony XBR43X800D might be better then Samsung. Sony seems to use DC instead of PWM and has ca 33 ms input lag but I am not sure how suitable it is for web development and photo editing, it seems to be a 10bit panel with 96% DCI-P3 color space coverage.

Yes get a 32 inch. They don't have so much issues and at 150% scaling it will be a working res of 2560x1440 while you will have nice looking sharp enlarged fonts.

I am not sure about senor, haven't used it but I sit a lot in front of the PC, 6-12 hours usually and I can say that this monitor is good for the eyes and I don't even use the low blue light mode, just standard. So you should be fine.

Read the review linked in first post, it is for the 43" inch but the 49" inch should not be too different. Anyway, this is a better solution then buying a TV.

Panasonic TX-43CX740 is in stock now, there is no reviews for it and I doubt that I will buy it because I am sure that is has low PWM like the Samsungs and LGs.
