    Silverstone SX500-LG 500W Gold SFX-L

I have to say I'm really disappointed with my SX500-LG. I picked it up from the post office yesterday and hooked it on outside my case to test it out. Nice, fan not kicking in during the first 10min of web browsing. Start FC4, fan kicks in. Quit FC4, fan slows down and starts to sound like a...

Silverstone Modular 450W SFX (ST45SF-G) - Now has a product page - NextQ = When?

Yes but 600W is twice the 300W. Unless it's super duper efficient, it will need active cooling.

Silverstone Modular 450W SFX (ST45SF-G) - Now has a product page - NextQ = When?

It's not quite possible to fit decent heatsinks in such a small enclosure as the SFX form factor.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

The 780 Ti's power consumption is 250W -> max amperage is less than 21A @ 12V (stock, of course). The recommended power supply amperage (42A) is for the complete system, not just the GPU.

    ST45SF-G Fan Replacement

I already have a spare 92/14mm Noctua. And correct me if I'm wrong but I should think that a 92mm fan is quieter than an 80mm. A 25mm thick fan would also be very close to my CPU waterblock/fittings

    ST45SF-G Fan Replacement

Mine as well and I'm not going to use it. Has anyone tried using a Noctua 92/14mm fan mounted on the outside of the PSU? The only main issue is that the startup voltage on the PSU fan header is not enough for the Noctua. It will start rotating only if helped by hand - when the PSU is idle, that...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Yes they look the same. I also broke three when putting them back on the case. :(

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

It's most definitely not the ONLY difference. Splash: +extra 120mm rad support +easier to route the tubing +room for a dedicated pump + res inside the case +drainport / fillport option -less options for HDD's (only 2 x 2.5") -no ODD -not so well finished, very "industrial" look -heavy M1...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Packed the NCASE back to its box yesterday and took her to the storage. Will be building the Compact Splash as my next rig due to better watercooling support. The NCASE is absolutely beautiful though, I'm sure I'll use it for a media PC in the future.

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

My reservoir arrived finally yesterday, after three months and two days of waiting. The faceplate was upside down and it's attached with some strange sized hex socket bolts. Oh well...

It doesn't matter even if the USB plug touches the I/O shield, they're both grounded.

Ncase M1 Build Log - Ultimate Game Build

Thanks for the info. How wide is the waterblock on the widest part? EK customer service said 145mm and that does not fit the M1.
