I wish I knew how it felt to have even the 181s. I have the old ones (instead of the promised 181s), one of which was DOA and SS never got back to me. So I had to just throw in some random 180mm fan in there sitting on top of the filter.
JayJapan, nice setup.
If I wanted to run two of these on my 2GB 6950, connect one to the DL DVI and the other through a display port adapter? I plan on keeping my current 1080p monitor hooked up through the other DVI just for gaming.
Cheapest place for the dual dvi to dp adapter? Monoprice?
Thanks, how does it hold up in temps compare to site reviews and such? On par? Slightly worse?
I know it's hit and miss since everyone has different averages but something out of the ordinary would give me pause in actively looking for a 670 over my current unlocked 6950 lol.
Cheers.
Anyone got a non reference 670-680 with a Silverstone FT02 (or similar) case where the motherboards are rotated 90degrees?
I'm just concerned about the heatsink not working "that great" compared to a typical layout.
Yeah, I haven't bothered with NZXT products either for a few years now after emails, phone calls and forum posts went ignored.
I hope your problem gets sorted out though.
That's what stopped me from buying two vikka table tops and legs if I were to make a corner desk like that, the darn leg in the middle of the whole thing. And I wasn't sure if tie plates would be enough to hold both tables together unless it was a frame around the whole thing.
Kind of annoyed...
I should probably email them again because I still haven't heard a word from them since I inquired about a followup in regards to my fan problem back in may? june?
Hey, quick question:
My friend has three displays (two monitors, one LCD tv); his current setup has a 560ti and a Gigabyte board that has faulty memory slots. So I'm wondering if it's possible for him to get a P8Z68-v Pro to use the on-board video for his LCD tv and hook up the dual monitors to...
I'm running two 24s and a FT02, so I've been looking at the corner-extended Galant table; I've seen some Jerker desks go for about 40-60 locally but..yeah it looks like it'll cause a little trouble with both my monitors.
Been using some lousy Saitek Eclipse II for nearly 4 years, after 6 months keys would randomly stop working and would need multiple strokes to register. Ended up just sticking with the thing even though Saitek support and customer service was horrible.
Have been looking at the Das cherry...
Just hooked up a new monitor via HDMI and it instantly bsod; then would do the same during the windows load screen.
Hopefully .6b fixes all that.
edit - well that got all sorted out with the new drivers, didn't even realize they came out either.
Ugh, feels so ghetto with two of my fans dead; the fan that I was talking about last time that was missing the contact under the switch, I replaced it with two 80mm fans I gutted from an old case, then used a 120 for the other.
Cooling is still...well it could obviously be better.
Yeah, I'll just get the LG W2442PA and maybe trade my current Dell towards the Benq monitor. Then save up for something like the Dell 2711 or 30" version for the graphic work after selling the Benq if I do end up getting it.
I remember reading your thoughts on the LG on HWC, 10e.
Thanks again...
Hey everyone, posted this on OC, figured I could use some help from H as well; I'm in the middle of deciding on what monitors to buy and I was hoping you folks can help.
I currently have a Dell S2309W and 2GB 6950 and I'm looking to add another monitor and maybe/eventually move up to an...
I just hit 40x and left voltage stock, haven't had any problems until I decide to do something like 44x without changing voltage.
Left it at 4GHz as I didn't need the extra proc power or voltage increase.
Damn, I can't believe I didn't notice it before but the left side panel (behind the motherboard) is warped, kind of bends out :|
I wonder how I can remedy that.
Nothing to solder, it's the copper contact that sits inside the switch that makes contact with the pcb lol :( looks like it just fell out and disappeared.
Anyhow, I currently have an Ultima 90 (for a while I thought I had the TRUE 120) and I kind of want to switch to one of the Corsair Hx...
Thanks for the reply, sorry to hear about the endless reboot problems.
I ended up grabbing 2x4 ripjaws this morning. I think I'll settle for the 8 GBs for now and see how it works in slot 1 when I get the new mobo.
In re: to the replacements, it's a full package right? Just a matter of unscrewing the current switch and fans, then popping in the new ones without rewiring?
I took the broken one out and the metal bracket that was holding the plastic switch was twisted pretty badly; I compared it to the other...
Hey everyone, I'm in the middle of picking out some parts for my new build. Right now I've got a Q6600, Gigabyte p35, OCZ Reaper ram and TRUE 120 with a scythe fan in push. Since I've got a Silverstone FT02 case, my cooler is oriented north-south but it does not interfere with the stick that is...
Yeah I'll just screw the support back in, I don't think it'll help with the fan not powering up. I'll swap the fans out by rewiring the ones that do work and see if my fan is dead or it's the switch/pcb thing.
Here's the image of what I was talking about. You can see that the hooks/sideplate thing that holds the other two is not the same as the one outlined in red.
Either way, I'll have to throw my parts in an old case and take the FT02 back to the store and I guess...wait for shipment or something...
It's been ages since I've posted here on [H]; can not remember my old email or user name associated with that particular account lol.
Anyway, I've run into an unfortunate problem. I received an FT02 as a gift and noticed that one of the fan switches at the top of the case was loose. I looked...
