I'm in the process of saving up for it, which is why my time frame is 3 to 6 months.
Do you know when the new CPU's are rolling out? If its soon, I guess it may be in my best interest to wait it out. I plan on purchasing the components from NewEgg.ca

I'm considering getting BF:BC2 for the ps3, but i'm hearing that there aren't many online players. Is this true? Is it worth getting or should I just wait for BF3?
Hey,
I'm thinking of getting a triple monitor setup using two nvidia 470s in SLI, but i would also like to run an additional 26" HDTV on the side to run Windows Media centre. Is this possible in an SLI setup where three monitors are in surround, while an addition LCD is not? If not, would an...
I just installed Windows 7 on my 3 year old Lenovo V100 notebook today. Even before installing it, i always had a overheating problem which caused my system to automatically shutoff during peak usage. However, I used to limit my cpu speed using Notebook Hardware Control. This temporarily fixed...
Yea im in the same boat as the OP. I want to get a 13" macbook but can't decide to wait or not. Hopefully, the new 13" gets atleast an i5m with a video card update. One can only hope.
Not sure if this is the right forum, but I'm looking into getting a wireless music streamer. The main reason I want one is so that I can stream live internet radio to my stereo system. One thing that is a requirement is that the computer doesn't need to be on to stream the internet radio...
Are there any places that have the HD555 that ship to Canada? TigerDirect.ca has it for $199 CAD + shipping. Headphones.com has it for ~$162 CAD with shipping.
Right now i have a 9600 pro on my desktop. Im looking into getting a X1650 Pro for it. Does anyone know what kind of settings are playable in BF2 with this card with a AMD 2600+ and 1GB memory?
I dont think Sprint runs on GSM. So i dont know if you can get any unlocked phone (since most are GSM).
If it were a GSM phone, then it would be quite simple: get the sim card out of your current phone and throw it into the new one.
Well here is my input:

People have been waiting months now for DX10 cards to come out when DX9 were available. If people constantly keep waiting, then they will never upgrade.
Back to topic: id say leave the quad and go for the 6800 or even 6600.
Umm...
Im not sure X-Fi AND a PhysX card will fit on that mobo. Cause the 8800s will take up most of the slots leaving only 1 PCI slot left.
EDIT: Well, if you get the BFG 8800 watercooled single slot card, then i guess you could fit it in.
Id agree with the poster that said to go Core2Duo. At the current moment, they are faster than the X2s. They are also pretty cheap. A Intel Core2Duo E6300 is around the same price as the X2 4200+.
If you did decide to go Core2Duo, then you would need to change your motherboard to something...
In my opinion, id look @ getting an X-Fi. If you look @ newegg, there are new versions of the X-Fi card.
Here is a whole list of them:
