I'm looking for the same thing,my old system is showing it's age and I'm planning to get a new one as soon as the new 2080 cards are available and need a new monitor to take advantage of it.
The movie actually looks interesting, certainly better than Abrahms trash, but they did cross the line when they paid themselves huge salaries. There's just no way they can claim they haven't profited from it.
Worst comparison ever. When a plane crashes,it doesn't contaminate large areas of land for thousands of years. Or cause increases in cancer, birth defects, and other health issues far beyond the site of the original incident.
On the other hand,no country should know the horrors of nuclear radiation better than Japan, yet they not only decided to build a nuclear power plant, but also picked the worst possible place to build it. And it's clear they have no idea how to handle the situation.
I tried a Pi2 as a console emulator, but could never get the sound to work. Also,I wish they had made it directly bootable from a usb stick,SD cards are just too unreliable with too little memory.
I'm just not sold on the movie. First, they seem to be going for a "Dark Knight Returns" feel, and I was never a fan of Frank Miller's work. The casting is questionable at best,Marvel is way ahead in this, and they're using a major villain in Doomsday(who looks terrible in the trailers) as more or...
Might have been better if it was, mammoths and sabertooths just don't compare to T-Rex's and raptors. Really this one is a bit too primal for me,give me a good sniper rifle over bows and spears any day. Why can't they just go back to the original and have Jack Carver return?
There was an attempt to make a movie with Ray Park, who played Darth Maul and Toad in X-Men,as Iron Fist, but it fell through.Shame,Park would have been great in the role. The character was my favorite of the hero's from Marvel's martial arts phase.
I agree,STALKER is strictly a single player, personal experience,MMO's just ruin the immersion. I had hoped the success of the Lost Alpha mod would convince CGI to get back into making STALKER 2,but apparently they don't recognize a good thing when they see it.
You couldn't be more wrong. Roddenberry's vision was one of hope of mankind evolving into something better,it used a sci-fi setting to address today's social issues and problems and showing we could overcome them. Star Trek is not Doom, even the Borg episodes were a warning against letting...
Bingo! Anyone is free to make fan films, but the minute they do something that even hints at making any kind of profit off it the studios are going to come down on them like a ton of bricks.
The fight scenes are great, but they're sandwiched between boring soap opera set in a totally unbelievable world. Hundreds of years after an apocalypse, there are still functioning vehicles? There are no apparent manufacturing plants,so we're supposed to believe those cars lasted all that time...
AMC has to share some of the blame for this mess, they've been extorting cable companies more and more with Walking Dead. It's really their only bargaining chip now, with series like Madmen and Breaking Bad gone.None of their other new series, even the Walking Dead spin off,are that good.
O.K.,let's be honest. The only reason Flash still exist is because most of the porn sites are too cheap to upgrade to more secure players.http://hardforum.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
That was the weakest part of the movie for me,the villains. In the original trilogy you had Darth Vader and the Emperor. Bad as the second trilogy was,Darth Maul was pretty bad ass.For this one we get a wimpy, tantrum throwing emo with daddy issues, and a holographic giant Gollum who will probably...
Coleco itself is long gone as a company, they just bought the brand name. The question is,just how many original games will be produced, and how good will they be? Between all the retro consoles that can play old cartridges from various systems and emulators for the PC,they're not going to succeed...
I don't know where it all went wrong with Sega. It's a shame,I actually preferred the MasterSystem and Genesis over their competition, and the Dreamcast was a pretty good system that just didn't have the game support it needed.
They're going to have to seriously pare down the plot line, considering the size and scope of the source material, never really cared for the Civil War arc. It just cemented my dislike for the Tony Stark character,an alcoholic control freak with real ego problems
What??!! You don't consider introducing a ridiculous time travel plot to alter the events of the entire series (and completely butchering it in the process) "retelling the origin story"?
My feelings exactly,Abrams is so arrogant he thinks the original material should be completely rewritten to fit his ideas. I'm surprised he didn't introduce a time travel element to the movie so he could completely change the whole saga. The man doesn't have a shred of inventiveness or...
I'd be disappointed if it didn't require a lot of storage space, being an open world game. Lots of areas to explore and missions to carry out are what I'm looking for. As long as they don't put in a lot of "fillers" like the subway tunnels in Fallout 3 that all looked the same and really didn't...
STALKER:Shadow of Chernobyl. Completely changed how I judged first person shooters. I was a die hard FPS fan,but was getting tired of the same old run'n'gun games,SOC changed all that. Fallout 3/New Vegas were good, and I'm looking forward to Fallout 4,but nothing matches the immersive gameplay...
No way he was unaware of a scheme this complex and far reaching. The things big corporations get away with makes me think that the vision of a world run and controlled by big business shown in many movies isn't that far off. If there was any real justice left, the man would be in jail, and VW...
Looks interesting,I'd love to see more open world,RPG type FPS's,but I'm not holding my breath. For some reason, these type games get a flashy announcement but never see the light of day, remember STALKER 2, PREY 2,and the open world Star Wars shooter I can't recall the name of?
That was a big beef I had with the movie, especially considering how little we saw of Godzilla to begin with. Even the fight scenes weren't that great since they were just brief skirmishes in between boring scenes of the human characters. If they actually use some of Godzilla's old opponents from...
Hope they do a better job with Kong this time around, even by TOHO's standards back then the costume was horrible. But I'm glad to see them resume the series,Hollywood just can't get the Big G right.
CyberMage: Darklight Awakening from Origin. Much more than another Doom clone at the time,it had RPG elements and an incredible amount of high tech weapontry and magical powers available, really ahead of it's time. I'd love to see a remake of it.
Microsoft wasn't content creating a platform for casual gamers, they did all they could to cripple and discourage PC gaming, and other console companies followed suit. Console exclusives, horrible PC ports (just look at the debacle with the latest Batman game),little effort given in developing pure...
