I wouldn't spend the money on DDR3 right now, unless of course your budget is very open. The prices should hopefully start fally pretty good after the fourth quarter.

AVA is definitely a great choice. I just had my system delivered a few days ago and wrote a post about them. You can search by my name. It did take like three weeks which is kinda tough to wait when you're excited about a new pc, but it was worth it. They do an excellent job.
