I have a Asrock Fatal1ty 970, have memory, but no CPU (needs an FX series).
Also have an FM2 board with CPU (940?) and memory.
Also have an intel NVMe drive that could work with the 970 board but not the FM2 board.
It have more photos I’ll PM you.
When I said AMD is chasing companies with deep pockets, this is reflected in latest earnings. Gamer pockets are pretty shallow and cannot compete with deep data center pockets. Nvidia makes a lot more off of gaming grade GPU sales than AMD, but even their gaming segment income pales in...
The other side of that coin is how investors look at it. They care about profit from console chip sales, but they also look at volume and stable income (even if it is razor thin profit) which gives them more confidence in AMD as a company that will stick around and continue innovating to keep...
No, just responding to a previous comment about AMD needing to work with developers. My point was there is significant exposure of AMD RDNA hardware via consoles ao that shouldn’t be a problem as it repates ro working with developers to optimize games for RDNA.
I don’t think Jensen is terribly concerned because gamers keep ponying up the cash for GPUs that get more expensive with each generation. If they have to lower prices to move product, they have a healthy margin to do so.
AMD needs to get killer value low end and midrange cards out and also...
I have an MSI 1650 Super 4GB for $60 shipped. Performance is nearly to the level of a GTX 1660.

I have two options for you for the price of shipping. Got both from a fellow forum member, had plans for them, hit tough financial spot, won’t be able to do what I had intended to use them for. The 860K mobo posts, seller sent a screenshot of it posted into Bios. The other board I have no idea...
I believe lowering the voltages has helped curb heat and I think you can set it to a lower TDP, the X3D chips do very well even at 65 watt TDP for gaming.
It may be longer, but I don't know the future or how well received AMD's Instinct lineup will be in the coming years. In a couple of years Nvidia might become the most valued company, beating even Microsoft.
High performance equals high dollars, and newer nodes are not getting any cheaper. Ask Intel who bought a new High NA tool from ASML for a cool 300-400 million for 1 tool!
That is why most comments from old time investors are not relevant, the world is changing and they are still clinging to what was. Sawm can be said of some CEO's who are not getting with the times and the company they are leading is dying because they are clinging to old ways and means. I know...
Nvidia is doing what investors, especially older investors, are not used to and if they saw this back in the day (i.e. the 1990's timeframe) it would be cause for great concern, but this ain't the '90's and they need to get with the fast moving technological times. If you look at stocks 30 years...
Market analysts are repricing nvidia so much that they don’t even know what to make of Nvidia now being the third most valuable company nipping at Apple’s heel.

Free bump. FYI to anyone concerned about cards used for mining, I have an EVGA 3060 Ti that I mined on for a year or so and it is working fine, no issues from mining. It is now getting used mostly for F@H.
