I believe this is true. The newer version is the Fredrik, but the legs are very different. I prefer the old "Jerker-esque" style. Looked much heavier duty and more rigid.

2560x1600 is what i currently game at, and like some have mentioned, once you get there, you don't want to have to go back down. However as it has been mentioned, its a big investment to get up there, not to mention stay up there, so its probably easier to go for eyefinity or something.

^^ I think its funny people actually think that Confirmations for delivery are actually any indication of when they will receive the product. I dont know how many times, companies have "Assured / Confirmed" me the product would arrive on a specific date, only to have it show up days / weeks...
