How did you resolve the "save game installer" path issue?
Always found it tedious to micro-manage a party on the battlefield, don't mind having them around and I agree with you, they seem pretty pointless and managing them doesn't have much impact.
Thread convinced me to reinstall it again but after 2 hours of trying to get it to launch I've given up. Keeps telling me "game does not appear to be installed" even though I downloaded everything, installed the game, updated all files, installed redistributables manually, and tried just about...
With the new patch I've been able to enable Nvidia Hairworks at only a 5fps loss using the "low" and "2x AA" settings. Thing is I actually like Geralt's hair better without Hairworks and even with the smoother gameplay and small fps bump from the patch I still don't think I can justify it.
Thanks for the reply, after some searching that's what I found to be true. Weird the Steam file doesn't get compressed. The consoles really got screwed. Which of course makes my day :D
Only showing up as two files on GOG.com. First part is a 1MB file and the second is 2.1GB file. Wondering why the steam file is 5GB++ and the PS4 and Xbox are 7GB++
I know from observation that you can stack potions and food, in other words swallow and any food or beverage will work together and accelerate regeneration.
Weird, I forced it to 8x and it completely removed the blurriness. I mean, it's immediately evident and I'm not sure why it's not working for you. Didn't ask or check your sig but maybe it's an AMD thing. For the record I'm running low sharpening in addition to AF but even without the...
It seems you are implying that it's my statement, it's not. The devs stated this in at least two different videos I've watched, saying that didn't downgrade, they did what they could with what was available. Maybe the problem is that they never should have posted that early content, it seems...
And now we are at the heart of the matter and I think the answer lies somewhere in between, where it typically resides. Again, I don't think we will be seeing 2013 level graphics, the devs and videos seem to allude to that. However, being that I honestly believe the devs when they say that...
Realize that as well, and while even I seriously doubt that we will see something resembling the 2013 footage, the PC community seems to be in for a pretty serious upgrade over the console versions. I think I can live with that. From all the dev videos I've seen they've made it pretty clear...
I realize that, that's why I posted it. Many in this thread have claimed that the three versions will be identical or the PC version will only boast better fps and resolution. It seems to be much more than that and as others have already alluded, there seems to be some sort of censorship or...
Did everybody miss this from Nvidia's website?
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunts May 18th release is tantalizingly close. On PC, the experience will be enhanced with higher-resolution textures, higher-quality effects, higher levels of detail, uncapped framerates, and many other enhancements."
I...

My last card was a Gigabyte 7950 and lasted me a good couple of years, one of the best cards I've ever owned period. I've been leaning AMD since the 9800pro hit the market like a thousand tech years ago. This time around I snagged a 970 based on the research and results I found online, and in...
Anyone figure out how to get vsync working without limiting the frame rate? The screen tearing in this game is awful. D3Doverrider and Radeon pro not working at all on my 970, not sure if they work at all anymore since nobody is working on them to my knowledge. Control panel adaptive vsync...
You're awesome, thanks for upping that. Almost can't believe it, have some pretty nasty gear myself but I've never seen armor counts that high. Are you using IR by chance?
Armor stat is pretty amazing! Even with IR, determination and decent armor passives and gear I think I only managed around 12k armor (guessing), I know my damage reduction was at 68%. I recently switched back to evade/armor combo to test my luck, 47 armor and 33 evade. Not sure which I like...
I accept that, it might just be a genre thing, I couldn't get into FC3, TR or anything similar and it seems many of the big titles are heading down this road. I read books and watch movies as well so I hate games that require me to do either really. For me there has to be some separation. The...
I can't understand the allure of this game. Quick time events are always terrible, period, even worse on the PC. Scripted sequences with almost no real exploration and corridors made to look like an open world environment. Cut scenes feel literally like half the game, I have no sense of...
These drivers significantly reduced Skyrim stuttering issues for me. Supposedly improved latency times and they delivered. I just migrated over from a 560ti 2GB to a 7950 and to my dismay experienced an equal amount of stuttering until this driver release. 12.11 made the 7900 series a...

I'm in for $15 after trying it out. The piracy message in the opening screen was worth the $15 by itself, good for a laugh. Go Indie, Go Kickstarter, Go Modders!
Someone in their group might have jumped the gun and created a false exigency. After reading through some of the posts on mod db it appears that their project manager left for a short period of time and their lead programmer left indefinitely. I believe the project lead is back (or vice versa...
This about sums it up, I'd love to say I'm shocked at how narcissistic some of these posts defending this guy are, but sadly I'm not. Reminds me of Cartman from South Park when he went on a talk show dressed as a troubled slutty teenager. When someone would try to rationalize with him about his...
Agree with the OP, I have a smaller Logitech Dinovo keyboard and it's difficult to use the WASD in such cramped quarters. I have 9 keys orbiting the arrow keys and a 5 button mouse which is usually sufficient for what I need to do. The extra space comes in handy and helps eliminate mistakes...
The DoF is accomplished using the "Dragon Warrior" mod, which is compatible with the "Realistic Lighting" mod. Once the mod is activated in the loader, you will find a book called "imagicon" in your inventory (give it 30 seconds to load upon loading a save for the first time) and you can tweak...
Little confused. I got Dragon Warrior working but didn't care for the saturation so I'm waiting for a separate file which the author will provide. The "3 Global DoF" are for RL? Which I assume to be "Realistic Lighting" which doesn't come with a jar or esp file. Furthermore, are these 3...
It's near-based DoF based on what I saw from a quick run through (not Dynamic). In other words the DoF line is essentially moved closer to the character, and applied not only to distant lands but to the area in front of or around the character. Dynamic (from what I understand) is actively...
