$215 offer was accepted last week. (Turned down $200.) Got the drive on Saturday. 86% remaining. Installed in my old Asus Z97 and it benches just like all of the other drives in the thread. Moved all my game installs over. Thanks OP and everyone who tested these. I am a happy camper!
It's baaaaack. My out the door price was $463.78. Bought through Paypal on my Citi Mastercard which is supposed to have an extended warranty program so maybe that will help if the card doesn't last. Price is just too good to pass up.
What kind of warranty does the "refurbished" card come with. I don't see anything in the site. (Also, the site seems overwhelmed. Can't process order in my cart.
Edit: Ok, thanks for the info, Scunion.
No. Just no. This thing is not cute, or funny, or cool. That mouth/head/grip head thing makes this robodog look more like a little killer dinosaur. Like the ones that killed Dennis Nedry except without the wing-a-lings. Boston Dynamics is Cyberdyne Systems.
Looks just like one of those old piano rolls for the antique player pianos. I had one when I was a kid. Air powered. You had to load up a roll and then keep pushing one the pedals to generate the air pressure. Fun as a kid and probably pretty good exercise, too.
Site worked fine for me. Picked up Skyrim Legendary Edition for $12.99 since it is no longer available on Steam and I want the HD edition when it comes out in a few weeks. Already redeemed on Steam. Got the free game as well. Tales from the Void. I am not interested in it so I gifted it to a...
In reality, I think it is a little of both. There is a setting in the new Oculus Home software that explicitly allows non-Oculus store media to run on the Rift. In many cases, it is up to the developer to support whatever hardware they choose. Valve already allows the DK2 to run Steam VR and...
The article didn't say that, of course. It was the commenter I quoted who suggested that the reason the woman who complained only did so because her "jealously (sic) alarm goes off." I guess that means only insecure, "unattractive" women get offended by having women dressed as school girls...
Right. Because if the woman looked like a supermodel, her complaint should be taken way more seriously. You know...because only really hot, sexy women are allowed to complain about being objectified by men.
I have been a fan of Antec power supplies and cases for years. My current case is going on 7 years old and I, only just last month, had to replace the Antec power supply that ran it.
Quality products and reasonable prices.
The killer to me was that the co-presenter on stage was doing everything he could to coach MB through the presentation. When he saw him starting to cave, he was like, "What about the curve?" All MB had to do was follow his follow his lead. "Well, I'll be goddamned! A freaking curved TV! I gotta...
Wow, this is weird. I have an ATI 7970 that has been in my case for the better part of a year. I have been running it with no problems.
When I got up today, I noticed that, every once in a while the fan would run up high for a few minutes and then go back down. I check the Performance tab of...
This is cool and the price is right. What this needs now is a killer app. Might be fun to play with but, after the novelty wears off, how does this become an indispensable tool? Not being critical. Just trying to find a reason to get one. ;)
As the assistant principal for an urban grade school, I am always on the lookout for ways to encourage students to read. However, I am afraid that this idea may have a serious flaw. If, as a child, all I have to do is scan the book with my phone to get the xp, where is the proof that I actually...
AMD is king. I have a 7970 and love it. I have been going red for my last 2 video cards. Why? The reason? One word...EYEFINITY! It is awesome! Once you go wide, you'll never go back.
