I'm not a huge fan of the bezel's gloss texture. Using VESA dual monitor arm, so the not-so-beautiful stand does not bother me. The displays do look great though. Need some more graphics horsepower me thinks.

Glad you pointed that out. I actually kill the process as soon as it finishes saving and subsequently excel.exe closes. When I throw a break in after the .Quit(), it still shows Excel.EXE in the task manager.

What version of VS/.net and excel interop you using? I tried to load this code and don't have a SaveAs method that takes 1 arg / close method that takes no args. I'm doing something very similar to the above code (exporting datagridview data bound to DB into excel reports) and not running into...

believe it or not, there's quite a bit of engineering that goes into building laptops. It isn't as if they just throw some components together and call it a day. All of this takes resources. If there's a market for it and it is technically feasible, then someone will step up with an offering.
