This is not the newest generation of VelociRaptor btw. They are 250gb 500 and 1tb. They also have 64 megs of cache as opposed to 32. This is the 2010 model.
Whatever one you choose be sure to check out mods. DA has some great gameplay/graphic updates and planescape has some mods to play much better on newer machines(widescreen, high-res)
Hope they do well. People giving money to adventure games may be dying since Jane Jensen is having trouble. I thought everyone loved Gabriel Knight....
If the indoctrination theory is correct then i can respect the ending, otherwise its crap. But i felt the same way as you about the game until the very end.
I played a free trial awhile ago and you definitely can't control the ship. I mean joystick control would be ideal but it doesn't even have a freelancer type keyboard mouse control. It's all done through click orders. Are you saying that is not the case anymore?
Forget about being backwards as a console fps, this is a pc space game where you can't directly fly your ship. Imagine WoW with even less interaction no wasd walking just click on map and say go here. Click on enemy, click attack.
Joining the kickstarter craze is the guys behind Tex Murphy games. It's not going live until May but they are taking ideas for rewards now. Hope it works since the series ended on a cliffhanger close to 15 years ago. http://bigfinishgames.com/games/project-fedora
Yeah they reached their goal, when i posted it it was only at 100k. Didn't realize it would hit the goal in a matter of hours and keep going way past it like it is. Tim is project lead it says and Ron Gilbert (Monkey Island) is also supposed to be working on it according to the video.

Kickstarter for a new TimSchafer adventure game. Basically a really early preorder because anything over $15 gets you the game when its released as well as beta.
I've been using chrome for almost as long as its been out but the latest versions seem to be taking a turn for the worse performance wise, especially with video. I find myself drifting back to firefox more and more. The newest version of ff is pretty good. It's a total chrome ripoff...
My favorite part of the rog connect is the monitoring. When first setting up my system I used it extensively to test my overclocks. It's a great way to watch temps in real time (right on my phone) when stressing the system with fullscreen benchmarks or playing high end games.
I for one really hope windows is not able to directly play xbox games. If so this means you will NEVER see another "pc" game. Who is going to bother making games for such a small base if their xbox 360 game can just be played on it. Better all go out and buy an xbox 360 controller for your pc...
Wish I could play this. Newegg screwed me over. Preordered the collectors edition months ago but they apparently didnt get any. Their representative said they have no idea if/when they will receive them. Thanks for the heads up newegg.
In the control options there is an advanced where you can set dead zone and sensitivity. When I first fired this game up i couldnt stay on track. After dropping the dead zone way down and playing with sensitivity it's a million times better.
Haven't had any fps issues. 570 with settings...
