Any chance of seeing the same test but with the cards overclocked? Almost every Pascal card makes it to 2GHz easy, and the 1080 might be able to cut down on reprojection mode quite a bit given a little boost.
Interesting that the MSI Lightning is faster than the ASUS Strix despite having lower peak boost clocks.
Any chance of seeing a graph of the actual clock speed plotted against time?
Well they got pretty badly burned trying a money grab with Street Fighter X Tekken. For those not in the know, THAT game had DLC characters, and a gem system to power up your characters, and the best gems could only be obtained by paying or through some special pre order promos.
Needless to say...
No coincidence there. The camera has up to 96GB of internal RAM for those super slow-mo shots.

Max res on any single display for the 6970 is 1600p, but people have gotten 4k monitors to work via displayport MST because the GPU sees it as two 1080P displays.
Problem is you have a TV, which probably doesn't have displayport, let alone support for 2x1080P via MST.
Google has actually denied some of my play store purchases when I wasn't connected over my home wifi. Guess since majority of my purchases originated from there transactions from other IPs set off some red flags. Not that I mind, really.
But I agree synthetic benchmarks like 3DMark and Heaven are useless.
Would be much better if Microsoft (as Direct3D owner) could build a benchmark suite using actual game engines. A single benchmark suite combining UE3/4, Cryengine, Frostbite etc. would be awesome, and very useful.
I'm pretty sure a random person's google glass doesn't qualify as a CFAA Protected Computer, which is defined as:

Didn't you know that if you type in your password it shows as *s for everyone else except you? Even if your told us your password was hunter2 it only shows ******* for us.
8K is important because it's supposedly "retina" for big-screen TV's.
The BBC, in cooperation with the NHK broadcast the 2012 Olympics in Super Hi-Vision. I don't know how many people had the hardware to view the other end of that stream though, apart from a few NHK-sponsored viewings in Japan.
IMO the MOBA games are doing F2P right. Mostly cosmetic upgrades to make your character or account look cool, but without providing a significant penalty against non-paying customers.
Then there's the seasonal availability of certain heroes. You could either learn to play a variety of heroes...
While I dislike the lack of secondary mapping, I actually like that they do not unbind conflicts. Sometimes one button doing two or more things is very useful.
Still, I wish every game had something like the console from Id's old games. The freedom to script sequences and bind them to any...
British Telecoms and Alcatel-Lucent already did 1.44 Tbps across 255miles over existing fiber lines.

Have you guys tried overclocking the memory on the 780 and Titan to see if that helps? I'm guessing the 290X's previous advantage at 4k is probably down to Nvidia's earlier cards being bandwidth limited.
If I had to guess at an explanation it's probably that the Titan becomes bandwidth-limited more quickly than the 290X. No use having the fastest processor in the world if you can't feed it with data.
IMO having the power target go to just 109% is pretty reasonable, considering the base card is already at 250W TDP. 109% takes it to 272W. There is actually more power available to work with than the old 680 Lightning's 133% of 195W, which is just 252W.
When the 680 and 670 first came out people were condemning Nvidia for not releasing them with 4GB of RAM. In a way this vindicates Nvidia's position in that 4GB is just not necessary.
