I'd say it takes ~30 seconds to "boot," yes it will remember settings and yes, any computer with iTunes on the network will be able to use airtunes to airport expresses connected to said airport extreme...and one computer can connect to multiple expresses (ie multi-room audio) :)
More info would be good (like what type of game you want to play or specific titles). If you're looking to play some sort "modern" of first person shooter, I wouldn't bother with the macbook.
system prefs-> users-> (select user) login items-> hit the plus button-> select the volume you want to mount at login.
I'm pretty sure the volume has to be mounted when you do this...
Which version of the firmware are you running? I'd suggest restoring it (if possible), unlocking it and adding nothing else. See if that makes a difference, then add apps one at a time to see which one is causing stability issues.
a few points,
- registry vs. plists- it's incredibly easy to into the user or system library and find the plist(s) for a specific app and dump it in the trash. Hell, you can even use spotlight now to find them. Compare that process with cleaning up or editing the registry...
- lack of...
helpful advice: it might be that because you have the same server setup as a POP account, entourage won't let you set it up as an IMAP account. What kind of error or message is entourage giving you?
honest advice: why are you using entourage in the first place? IMO, it's a huge pile of shit...
figure out how much time the mac pro will save you while rendering etc, and then take how much you charge for the work you do and see if it is a cost effective upgrade for you.
probably two reasons,
- the hard drive will spinning up a lot while the computer is moving around, if the sudden motion sensor doesn't constantly park the read/write head and cause music to "skip," you're pretty much asking for drive damage and/or failure
- if you leave the computer running...

It's paired with the athlon xp box in my sig running vista via a d-link bluetooth dongle. The bootcamp keyboard drivers are floating around online, just have to search for them. You should be able to get it paired with an xp/vista machine pretty easily without any sort of apple drivers...
boot off of your restore discs or an OS X install disc, open disc utility, go to erase, click security options, and select the option you want. depending on how big your drive is, it could take a while.
w/out bootcamp drivers, everything has worked very well for me with vista ultimate on my athlon xp box. With bootcamp drivers for the keyboard (gain use of volume, eject, media keys), there's an issue of caps lock pretty much not working.
applecare is available for it, it's $69 and essentially adds another year of warranty coverage so your phone would be covered for the whole 2 year period.
and IIRC, out of warranty iphone replacement phones cost $199 for the 4gb and $249 for the 8gb...and you have to have an active at&t...
