There are separate jump potions. Two for story and one for job level. The story ones will let you skip ARR (2.x) or ARR and Heavensward (3.x) story quests. ARR story skip is $18 alone, ARR + Heavensward story skip is $25. Job level potion is $25 and you can only have 1 per account until further...
People neglect backup all the time. That this happened is not surprising at all. I used to work for a software company whose product relied on a database on the back end. You'd have been shocked at how often we found out that our customers didn't back up their critical databases. While what...
It has an in-depth story with multiple endings, gear, gear upgrades, and a system similar to a materia system. It has just has an action combat system.. so it's basically an action rpg w/ shoot em up elements.
what I like most about the open world part of Zelda is more what it doesn't do than what it does. It has towers.. but they only reveal the geography and topography of the map.. they don't reveal the contents. So you never get bogged down with "there's x number of these kind of quests, dozens of...
I'd say it's more a Koei Tecmo problem than a Switch problem... they develop the 'warriors' spin-off games and are known for lazy ports. If Bethsoft puts in the effort, I'm sure Skyrim will be fine.
The Witcher 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Two beautiful games that will get the most out of your two beastly gpus.
Gears 4 is also a good choice, but I don't think they've added multi-gpu support yet. (I could be wrong about this.. )
well, if the rumors are to be believed, it will be an nvidia tegra based SoC, portable tablet-like device w/ a docking station for tv use.. Anything with a good-sized decent screen and a powerful mobile SOC wasn't going to be mass market cheap.
It'll unlock when the clock strikes 12 am in whatever region store you bought from. If you got it on the US store, it'll be tonight at 12:00 am EDT (9pm PDT)
someone who works for the store team said on NeoGAF that some corrupted blocks for the Gears 4 download had made it onto some download servers and they were causing the downloads to stall out and just sit there instead of failing. This should be corrected now.
"Hi everyone, if you were having a...
multi-gpu support is coming after launch. It'll be using direct x 12's native MGPU capability. (they say that the Ultimate Edition of Gears of War 1 will also be getting mgpu support around the same time as gears 4)
Remedy chose not to support Dx 12 with the steam release. That has nothing to do w/ MS. They chose Dx 11 because they are more familiar with it and thought they could achieve a better result.
There are several other games on steam that support dx 12 rendering paths, so again this has nothing to...
I grabbed it too.. despite my better judgement.
not expecting it to run well.. the game has forced 4x msaa that you can't turn off as well as 2 additional geometry passes. These really hurt the performance on PC, whereas the Xbone needed them to render the game using their image reconstruction...
Relax :) The only "xbox only" version is a disc.
In the windows store, click your user icon in the top right and go to "My Library"
Then find Forza Horizon 3 in your list.. and click the download button (highlighted in blue)
Then it'll download the game.
There's no code like Quantum Break.
If you buy a digital copy from microsoft (or a third party like amazon.. doesn't matter as long as it's digital) you can use the game on xbox and PC and swap freely between platforms. It simply puts on your microsoft account that you own the game on xbox...
I do get minor stutters here and there and some framedrops.. but for the most part it feels good @ 60 fps.
Running in 4k..
Love using my new car here -
(I scaled the screenshot down to 1080p)
since I bought the Titan from their store, I submitted a ticket about my store order..
Down at the bottom "Contact customer service" - NVIDIA Online Store - Help
Nope. they don't have any stores in Florida.. closest one would be 5 hours away.
Also, their price is the same. It says "Save $2000", but the regular price on their store is higher than the one on best buy's page
Micro Center - Computers and Electronics
their regular price is listed as...
After some looking around, I think I'll get one of those height adjustable tables.. like the ones that hospitals use to go over their beds. and use that to put my keyboard and mouse on while playing first person games. controller will work fine for stuff like the witcher, etc. I agree on that...
I just bought a 65" OLED B6P.. best buy had it on sale for $3999.98.. those of you that game with your tvs, what do you all use for mouse and keyboard? My coffee table isn't high enough to put my mouse and keyboard on that.. and I'm a large person, so I don't have much of a lap for a lapboard...
I just beat Tomb Raider 2013 on the PC Saturday. Fought with myself for a few hours about buying the sequel on the xbone because I wanted more.
Ultimately I caved in and bought a physical copy so I could get my fix. I'll sell it or trade it in once I can get the game on the PC.
For now...
mine seems to be working ok again now too.
not sure if maybe I was holding it wrong (the button) or something else, but it is consistently detaching again.
I did install the MSI in that, yes.
I did not notice any problems w/ detaching until I did that.
It's very strange to me, because the mechanism is clearly working.. as I can always remove the tablet if I go by the light on the keyboard.
Windows only shows "ready to detach" if I close the...
Apparently that package is meant for deploying a system image to a surface book via WDS or SCCM.
It seems likely that installing that driver pack messed something up.
I had gotten a firmware update from windows update when I first started the machine (the day I bought it) that enabled...
So I was kind of an idiot.. my 'book was working just fine.. then I saw someone say that installing this -
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49497
improved their battery life.. so I did that.
Since then, I've been getting "Latch failed to open" errors in windows...
I'm finding the 40" @ 4k to be perfect for me.
It has ~110 ppi and the 27" monitor it replaced was ~108
I've had to do a few adjustments in games like MMOs.. mainly moving the chat boxes closer to the center so I don't have to shift my head as much, but it is working out great.
You can download the ISO build 9926, mount it in windows and run setup.exe and it will copy the files it needs to do an in-place upgrade from your current build.
I was on 9901 and that is what it did.
