I have the same cooler but it is 4670K running at 4.4GHz and with heavy load it stays below 75oC.
Are you doing a huge o/c?
Btw: with low load I set this fan to run at 300 rpm. (very low noise)
After a long time it was time to clean and rebuild: good oportunity to try ducts.
Tip to new comers: New GPU will be blower style. It is complicated to redirect hot air inside this case.
New rebuild:
With ducts:
Old but gold:
With ducts GPU is not heating MOBO/CPU/PSU so much...
I have never tried klipsch, but I have z623. They are just "ok", not balanced. Good bass, but not clear voice. (perhaps lack of tweeter).
This was the best (not DIY) 2.1 on my local market, but I was expecting better sound.
Great building record. Congratz! Your build seems very clean and tidy
(Tks to translate.google.com to open it too  )
How about noise/temperatures? And where did you get the covers for the holes on the motherboard?
I was searching about ducts inside M1 and want to know how you guys have done it. Did you have good results in terms of temperature and noise?
I´m concerned about ATX PSU and GPU getting unnecessary hot air. Having to spin too fast to cool them.
Some ages ago I tried 2 fans at the bottom...
I´m using impact VI. Audio quality gets better after bios update and driver update. At least for me. Early versions of bios / drivers were causing audio noise
I´m using an ATX one from be quiet (SP7 - 500w) on my ncase. It runs well, at least no coil whine as my other ones from coolermaster and corsair. I havent tested sfx from silverstone or bequiet.
One important point is to check who is the manufacturer behind brands. There is a "non oficial" list...
I have one 120mm and another 92mm from noctua but they are not slim. I just use fan speed from mobo to make them very quiet on idle. But from my tests even with both fans at 100% I just get around 2 degrees less on my GPU. So I don´t think it worth for me. I just still using it because I already...
I´m happy with my one. I´m not planning to buy another M1 for now. I'm contributing with a suggestion that does not change the case size.
Have you tried "printing out a 3D file"? I have never tried. I heard it takes hours to finish and costs a lot every small pieces
ok
Thanks for the...
Quote from another topic:
It seems to be good start.
If someone is using option on the right (slots 2 and 3 only) probably they will have a long GPU so there is no problem with awkward gap of the expansion slot.
But I dont know yet how to solve "natural looking" in top gap (with slots...
One suggestion for rev2:
check if feasible to allow move motherboard down. So we can choose to use 3 slots or just slots 2 and 3.
Main reason: allow modular atx psu with long (not so long) gpu
This flexibility may allow to have gpu getting fresh air from bottom without extra fans and may...
I´m using PNY 770. It is quiet if fans are running up to 60% of max speed.
My biggest (noise) problem was PSU (atx one). It was doing a lot of noise when powering GPU. I have changed my old PSU from coolermaster to be quiet! and now my M1 is running very quiet.
There is a new: BIOS updater for New 4th Gen Intel Core Processors
Has anyone tried? It seems strange its size. It is half size of other versions.

I have changed my ATX PSU to: be quiet! System Power 7 (500w).
Power cable orientation fits OK on M1.
This psu is very low noise and doesn´t spreed much heat on M1 front cover.
When gaming it makes much less noise than my GPU.
Another good point is that my audio output from Asus IMPACT...
In my M1 I´m using PNY 770 GTX without problem.
I just had this coil whine with Corsair CX500, so I´m temporarly using one from Coolermaster until I get a new one from ebay.
