Higgy,
Thank you for your concern. Everything is fine with my monitor. No dead pixel. I just received my DVD player Oppo DV_981HD. I tried it yesterday and the picture looks very nice. I did plug earlier my monitor to the HD cable box, 1080i shows are amazing on this monitor. The picture is...
Hello Higgy,
Sorry for the delay but I was away last week. They send me a RA number after 2 days and offering credit back. But I realized that the component of my DVD player were broken and not the monitor. So I kept the Monitor as I am very happy with it
Got mine on Friday. Everything is fine except the component does not work properly:( . I try on 2 different DVD players and I am getting a red picture. I sent an e-mail to TechonWeb for a RA number for a return.
Am I the only one who have component issue? Did somone heard another guy with...
Well, he just repeated to me whatt the HQ told him. But yes he is very confused because the first time he came back to me (previous message) , he told me that FP241WZ was using a PVA panel from AUO which does not exist.
Do you know the differtence between the P-MVA and AMVA panel? Which one...
Yes you are right on the AUO website it is AMVA. Is it better that P-MVA?
I sent back any e-mail and explain to him the issue. He answered to me immediately. He told me that he will check again. I keep you posted
I don't realy understand because AUO make only one type of panel for 24'' which is M240UW01 V2. I think it is a P-MVA
I do not think this guy understood what the HQ told him
I asked a guy from Benq by e-mail about the panel for the FP241wz and he answered the following:
Sai Tang
to me
I just check with our HQ. We used PVA panel made by AUO.
Sai
Hello Higgy,
Did you succeed to solve the problem with the 64-bit drivers or software. Is this monitor a "Vista premium certified."? What Benq told you?
And did you find what kind of panel is it?
Thank you for your help

Higgy,
Are you using VGA connection? In this case are the text sharp? Do you have any problem with the red color as some found with the FP241W?
Did you test the 1:1 aspect ratio?
Please advice, Thank you
Hi,
I am very interested to buy the BenQ FP241W but I read in this forum people complaining about the stretching issue. I am looking for a monitor to use with my PC first and then to watch DVD and HDTV via HDMI.
If my DVD player is up-converting with aspect-ratio control and my cable box...
