Yeah, I have a 3080ti in my main desktop and a 6900xt in my HTPC gaming at 4k and I gotta say, the 6900xt is extremely impressive. Paired with FSR 2.0 where supported it just keeps getting better.Thats a stout card for the price! I am a recent AMD convert again, and I am glad I went with team red for the first time in ages.
I know someone will mention that's with a rebate. As always, don't base a purchase on a rebate, but I did get the $50 one for my msi 6800xt. It took a couple of months, but it did come in eventually.
That is dropping a lot of video card on Nvidia's magic $359 number
At this time I am not sure I would step up to a 6800 chip honestly. For 1440p the 6700xt is solid. This will allow us to see how rdna3 shakes outDefinitely eyeing that MSI. Currently it's
$580 after rebate. It's either that or a Sapphire 6700 xt for $430...
+1. I know that prices are all over the place, but I'm not sure why we're still seeing so much price overlap. The middle/upper range of 3060ti cards is at the exact same price point as the lower/middle range of 3070. The same goes for 6800xt and 6800. Thr 6700xt is really the only card that feels like the bottom is actually dropping out.A tad disappointing that 6800 prices aren't lower. Most of them are only within $20 or so from an XT.
I am leaning the 6700xt's direction, largely for this reason... at least at 7:56 am PST. Who knows what I'll think in 20 min.At this time I am not sure I would step up to a 6800 chip honestly. For 1440p the 6700xt is solid. This will allow us to see how rdna3 shakes out
