Real-world applications that match Kombustor/Furmark's temps?

Any kind of video encoding or 3D rendering that gets as hot as these two programs?

I guess video games are kinda apps. I meant productivity stuff. But I did play some games and the load they place varies greatly. None approached Kombustor. I guess I would have to buy Metro to find out if it matches Kombustor.

Backstory: I gave a video card that I modified to my dad who's put it in his Mac. Macs have poor airflow. And, apparently it's not free to monitor GPU temps. I was concerned.

I did try Luxmark which is a 3D rendering benchmark/stress test, but it maxed out the card at 76C while Kombustor took it to 88C.

The Witcher 3 seems to get my GPU hotter than any other of my games.

Folding can max out your CPU. Also, gpugrid.net is a similar thing (BOINC-based) that can max out your graphics card compute.

As other have stated, try some Distributed Computing. Moo Wrapper will run a GPU hot, Einstein@Home stresses GPU memory hard. There is also PrimeGrid, SRBase, etc. Just make sure to run multiple tasks at once if needed to fully load that GPU!
