Especially lame because I got a notification from the queue specifically saying -KR was removed from production and I would be moved to -KL (light hash rate version). So maybe it did end production but why not release however many made to people in the queue?
 
Yep my step-up also moved to it, canceled it. Should have just signed up for the KR on 6/4 instead of switching it from the Ti to the regular 3070. Ahh well, what's done is done.
 
I have a gigabyte 3070 coming in today from the BH queue, will probably put it to mining use since it is likely the last of the FHR cards. If LHR going back, I think the full rate cards will start going back up in a few weeks once the dust settles but then again I only have 2-3 GPUs so am good either way. Have other uses for my cards like you know, gaming :)
 
My 3080 step up came in last week and its a FHR KR. I am in que for purchases and was notified that was to be moved to a KL. Does that mean my 3080 will skyrocked in value even more that it already has?
 
Right now the whole GPU market is in a trough, so I doubt it but yes I do expect the market to go higher for full rate Nv cards and generally good mining cards a bit before end of the year. Having said that I don't have 20 GPUs in my garage and a bot sub like some either, happy to continue mining/gaming on 3 I do have and ride it out. Been an interesting adventure these past 9 months....
 
Given this information, I believe that I am within my rights to buy a 3080 KL and sell my barely used 3080 KR for market value and thus, end up with a card for just about free. This cannot be considered scalping since I am enjoying my card now. Of course I have yet to get a notification on a new card but it seems to me that my KR is going to waste if someone would need it for mining and is willing to pay the premium or am I just rationalizing?

Just sell it for what it's worth, otherwise some dirty scalper would pick it up and flip it anyways 😂

Been on the list since March. Their manufacturing supplier sucks donkey.
