You've had a lot more success than myself. Are you using a discord to tip you off to when the BB drops start?
use octoshop. but it deosn't matter much honestly. It depends on luck plus BB looks like has smaller drops now then they used to. Before holidays it was much larger drops it seems for GPUs. I was able to snap a few for family and friends before before christmas. Didn't try a few drops after that but last few times no luck. I got add to cart a bunch of times but couldn't purchase during checkout. Plus the add to cart button pops up after they are out of stock it seems as well. Seems like smaller drops then they used to be, but on the other hand lot more people are aware they drop on Tuesday or Friday at 9am Pacific. I was on the site before any notifications so people basically camp on the website and it may just be more people are now aware of the drops and quantity is same. Really easy to time their drops so probably lot more people buyinng now then before from them.

use octoshop.
I got this app running and it's a good backup for when I'm snoozing on the F5. Unfortunately by the time the bells go off... too late. I think that there are just so many more people getting in on the BB drop.

Nope, I'm 0-21 now.
Im right around that now.
Its sad to see others win multiple times.
I think Newegg doesn't pick me because I have bought anything from them in a few years. Unless theres a more sinister reason. Being unlucky is just a state of mind...

How did you get the alert on this one. Surprisingly, none of my discord group alerts triggered, do you have distill I/O?

I'm just curious how fast those cards went byebye. I get e-mail notifications from this thread and I clicked your link almost instantly upon receiving the e-mail thread. Those cards seemed to disappear almost immediately!!?!?
I got an alert today on a discord and they were in stock in cart and I could have checked out, but I didnt buy any.
I want a properly priced 3070 or 3080

I buy a lot from Newegg and I haven’t been selected either. Someone suggested your chance of winning is much higher if you pick the highest priced combo items. That makes sense — less competition, and probably more quantity to sell, since more profitable for Newegg. I always have selected the lowest price items.

I have started selecting everything inclining all combos to see if I can win ANYTHING.
Worst case I sell the MB or PSU to get rid of and hopefully break even on it.

Came in today, hefty card. Totally forgot to order DP -> HDMI adapters for some of my stuff like a tard though, so that was fun.

Still haven't received my Newegg rejection email. I usually get it by 330-4. Anyone else not get it yet too?

So that was the pre-tariff price? whooboy!

Did you opt for the quick shipping? Or was that automatically applied? I would figure most people waited this long, why not wait a few more days and save $30 :D

Yeah that pricing seemed awful and it still sold out quick.
I guess that makes me feel a little bit better about paying $1,000 locally for a like new EVGA 2080 Ti FTW ultra. And the selling of my 2060 super offset 2/3 of that cost.

EVGA applied $70 discount on top of the price. I was fuck it, the cheapest shipping was $17 so I upgraded. I am in Tampa Bay hence the tax.

Yup, EVGA taxes Floridians too. Congrats on the card. These 3755 models are nice.

Nice, of course I had to play nice and cancel my queues within 2 mins of launch for the 3070s and 3090s once I got my first 3080 😭 But that sweet little 3060 just came in though so I guess I am a bit less salty.

Zotac had a big drop in the night (afternoon in Asia where I am at right now), tried like hell to get a 3080 and 3060 but the latency was too high to win the Zotac Game, really needed my gigabit fiber connection back home in CA lol.

Yeah but wouldn't you have been sleeping in CA? Unless you have yourself a purchase bot.

You basically need to near-DDOS them (don't actually, like 20 I think) with the amount of tabs you open to be successfully get through the checkout process, from what I hear, I haven't personally managed to snag anything from them.

The Zotac website is complete junk. Any time more than a dozen people visit the site it completely crashes. I've been online for the last 4-5 Zotac drops, and I've gotten close in the checkout process, but to get any of those pages to load involves opening nearly 100 tabs, constantly refreshing and hoping the pages load long enough to check out.

Yup, it's exactly this. I've tried several times and on multiple occasions gotten it into the cart and checkout process but by the time I get near the end it's out of stock. It sucks because there's no solution. If they keep it as is, there's at least a chance a human can get a page to load where a bot wouldn't. If Zotac upgraded their server from the raspberry pi 3b it's on, then the bots would just eat them all instantly.
